    Day 1

    Check out the following (both are good options to start your Berlin visit):
     Berlin Famous Walk tour (www.insidertour.com). 14€ 4hours walking tours in English
    covering many Berlin highlights.
     Berlin Hop on Hop off Bus tour (www.hop-on-hop-off-bus.com/berlin-bus-tours)

    If you are not interested in the tours, consider the following:

     Get the U-Bahn to “Berlin Brandenburger Tor”


     Brandenburger Tor (Brandenburg Gate)
     Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe
     Reichstag (book online for tour and visit to the cupola)
     Topography of Terror
     Checkpoint Charlie (Berlin’s Disneyland…)
     Walk the Friedrichstrasse towards Gendarmenmarkt (have a drink a the Newton Bar)
     From there walk to Bebelplatz and check out the Humbolt University and the Book Burnin
    memorial
     Visit the Berlin Cathedral
     Check out the DDR Museum
     Alexanderplatz
     Fernsehturm / TV tower (buy the tickets online first)
     East Side Gallery
     Check out the Markethalle Neun, Eisenbahnstraße 42-43, 10997 Berlin

    If you have more time:


     Visit the Pergamom Museum
     Visit the German Historical Museum
     Visit Unterwelten Austellung, go to Humboldthain (buy a ticket online). If no ticket walk up
    the humboldthain, on top is a big bunker
     In the evening have a drink at the Café Luzia (Oranienstraße 34, 10999 Berlin)

    Consider renting bikes for this day.

     Go to Potsdamerplatz
     Visit the Filmmuseum the the Postdamerplatz / Sony Center
     Visit the Hamburger Bahnhof Gallery (Invalidenstraße 50-51, 10557 Berlin)
     Walk on the Tiergarten
     Bauhaus Archives – Museum of Design (Klingelhöferstraße 14, 10785 Berlin)
     Visit the Charlottenburg Palace, Spandauer Damm 20-24, 14059 Berlin
     Walk the Kurfürstendamm Street, leaving the UBahn at Adenauerstr. And walking towards
    Wittenbergplatz Ubahn station
     While walking on the Kurfürstendamm, you will arrive at the Breitscheidplatz (check out the
    Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church)
     When you get to the Wittenbergplatz Ubahn station, try a “Curry Wurst mit Pommes” at the
    Witty's Kiosk
     Go back to Breitscheidplatz and visit the Bikini Berlin Concept Mall
     Have a drink at the Monkey Bar on the top floor of the 25 hours hotel at the Budapester
    Straße 40, 10787 Berlin

    If you have more time:


     Visit Prenzlauer Berg, Kulturbrauerei, walk to Kollwitzplatz or to Helmholtzplatz -> lots of nice
    bars and restaurants, Lychener Strasse (close by)
     Mall of Berlin at Postdamer Platz
     Visit the Olympic Stadium

    o Visit Wannsee, go to S-Bahnhof Wannsee, walk along Krumme Lanke, visit building of
    Wannsee conference (museum where Germany was divided into sectors)
    o When in Wannsee area, you could visit Teufelsberg. On top is the old American Radio
    Spionage station. You can book a tour on Sundays with an old American Spy veteran
    to give you a tour.
