Thank you for the opportunity to interview for this position today. My name is
Rodessa Absalon, 22 years old. I'm passionate about learning new things and be
flexible. I recently completed my [degree or most recent educational achievement]
at [Your University/College], where I majored in Bachelor of Elementary Education.
This educational background has equipped me with a solid foundation in applying
my knowledge and skills in various settings.
I believe that maintaining a balance between our professional and personal lives
enriches us and enhances our productivity and creativity at work. I'm eager to bring
my background in [Your Field/Expertise] and my experience in [mention any
specific experience relevant to the job you're applying for] to your team. I'm excited
about the possibility of contributing to [mention any specific projects, goals, or
initiatives related to the position], and I'm looking forward to the opportunity to grow
and learn alongside your talented team."
• What are your previous jobs and why did you leave?
I haven’t done any jobs related to call center. However, I have been an intern in school
most specifically in the integrated laboratory school. I did leave my job as a student
intern because we are only given 5-6 months to complete our internship. I enjoyed my
job because I have improved myself especially in my communication skills with
students and parents.
Strength
I thrive in environments that require me to adjust to new challenges and changes. This
flexibility allows me to learn quickly and manage the demands of various situations
effectively, ensuring that I maintain productivity even under pressure.
I have a strong analytical ability that aids me in identifying problems and devising effective
solutions. This skill has been beneficial in my previous roles, where I was able to contribute
to process improvements and innovation.
Weaknesses
I tended to take on too much by myself, believing it was faster or more efficient. I've learned,
however, that effective delegation not only improves project outcomes but also strengthens
the team. I'm continually working on improving my delegation skills to become a better
leader.
• Why iPloy?
I'm drawn to [IPloy] for several compelling reasons, each aligning closely with my
professional aspirations and personal values. What stands out to me is the
company's commitment to its vision which it views itself as the outsourcing solutions
provider and partner of choice for businesses of all types and sizes.
This resonates with me deeply as I have always believed in [IPloy]'s reputation for
fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment is incredibly appealing. I
thrive in settings that encourage collaboration, continuous learning, and growth, and
it's clear that [IPloy] prioritizes these aspects.
• Out of the box questions: If you are given a chance to take your family to have a grand
vacation, where would it be and why?
Japan's reputation for cleanliness, safety, and the hospitality of its people makes it an
ideal destination for a family vacation. The efficiency of public transportation and the
overall ease of travel within the country would ensure a comfortable and hassle-free
experience for the family.
• If you are given a chance to become a president, what issue would you like to tackle?
If I were given the chance to become a president, one of the primary issues I would
focus on is education reform. Education is the cornerstone of individual and
societal growth, and ensuring access to high-quality education for all is critical in
addressing a range of other issues, from economic inequality to health disparities.
• If you are given a chance to turn back time, what will you do 2-5 years from now?
If given the chance to turn back time, looking at a period 2-5 years from now, I would
focus on several key personal and professional priorities to ensure I'm making the
most of that period.
Spending more quality time with family and friends, recognizing that relationships are
what truly matter at the end of the day.
• If you are given a chance to change your personality, what would it be and why?
Improving resilience would mean that when faced with setbacks, I could bounce back
more quickly, maintaining a positive outlook and focusing on solutions rather than
dwelling on problems.
• However, if I had to emphasize one over the other, I would lean towards attitude as
the more critical attribute. This is because a positive attitude can be the catalyst for
developing and improving communication skills. Individuals with a growth mindset
and a positive approach are more likely to seek feedback, embrace learning
opportunities, and work on enhancing their communication skills.
If I had the opportunity to give advice to my younger self, I would emphasize the
importance of embracing three key principles: resilience, curiosity, and self-
compassion.
Recognize your worth and celebrate your achievements, no matter how small they
may seem. I would advise my younger self to persevere through difficult times, learn
from every experience, and understand that resilience is built through overcoming
obstacles.
If I had the opportunity to give something to my younger self, it would be the gift of
confidence, accompanied by the advice to embrace failure as a stepping stone to
success.
I would tell my younger self that failure is not a reflection of personal worth but an
inevitable part of growth.
