Trainers Training Proposal by Tech Advise Learning
27 April 2024
The academic arm of Tech Advise ASIA IT Solutions, Tech Advise Learning, aims to provide the most
practical and effective training programs for schools, both private and public. We assist students and
teachers in adapting to the new technology, assisting them in navigating the challenges associated
with technological development and maximizing its benefits.
To help facilitate the delivery of Robotics education and training, we would like to propose a 1-day
training for all teachers. In addition to developing cross-disciplinary problem-solving skills, the
teachers will be able to create algorithms, design algorithms, and program software, as well as learn
about control systems, robot manipulators, and sensors associated with the workings of robotics.
Below are the details of the training for your review and acceptance.
OVERVIEW
Reference No. TASS-ETIS001
Topics Trainers Training for Educational Robotics
Part of In-service training and personal development program
Proposed Date June 27, 2024

In this 1-day workshop, teachers will gain the knowledge and skills needed to deliver robotics
training to students at the elementary and/or High School level.
A. Foundations of Robotics
Allows the teachers to gain an understanding of the elements of robotics, the history of
robotics, how it can be used in education, and what its significance is, as well as the
applications in society, and the basic components of a robot.
B. Programming Foundations
As part of the course, teachers will gain an understanding of basic programming concepts
and an introduction to programming languages specifically designed for robotics (e.g., C, C++
or Python) and hands-on basic programming activities will also be given.

D. Introduction to Sensors
Teachers will understand how sensors gather information from the robot's surroundings,
while actuators allow the robot to act upon that information. Understanding these
components is crucial for designing and programming robots effectively.
G. Hands-on Workshop
Guided activity with the robotics kits, troubleshooting common problems in the hardware
and codes. It is also the opportunity to ask questions and discussions.
KEY TAKEAWAYS
Upon completion of Trainers training workshop, participants will be able to:
Learn the fundamentals and concepts of robotics.
Acquire new skills in programming.
Demonstrate the skill required to deliver robotics training.
Identify the importance of robotics in today’s generation.
Design an environment for a robotics lab and its safety considerations.
Come up with an action plan for implementing robotics education in the classroom.
WHAT TO BRING
This is an intensive hands-on workshop; thus each participant is required to bring the following:
Computers (Laptop preferably)
Internet connection (or able to connect to a wifi or hotspot)
Power chargers
Printed course material to be used as a guide
FEES
The subsequent fees will be used to cover the expenses for the logistics and in-classroom trainers:
Php 3,000 per pax (training only without kit, participants should provide their kits and must
be shared with Tech Advise 7 days before the training day)
Php 5,000 per pax (training with a robotics kit shared 3pax per group, kits shall be returned
after the training)
Robotics kits are sold separately at Php 8,500 per kit (pre-build)
Note: the training fee does not include food, and drinks.
Note: Venue provided by the school
CERTIFICATE
Certificate of Participation
Participants must be present 100% of the training and are required to pass the assessment
to be issued a Certificate of Completion.
We do hope you find our proposal valuable and aligns with your objective of enabling your trainers
for robotics education. Please do reach out if you have clarifications and questions.
Again, we sincerely thank you for this opportunity and we look forward to becoming your
technology education partner.
Best Regards,
Christopher Nellas
