2/ Lesson 5: - Ask ss “Does anyone in your family work in a shop/ police station/ hospital? What
Reading does he/she do?
- Prediction: ask ss to look at the pictures, name people, things they can see and
encourage them to predict what they are going to read
Presentation
- Ask ss to listen and follow the text
- Ask ss to listen again and underline new words, then explain new words
- Practice reading outloud

Check understanding
- Ask comprehensive questions to check undestanding: What does Mollydo at the
zoo? Which animals does she look after? Does she like her job?
- Do exercise in book: explain model. Copy the model sentence on board. Ask ss “is
the sentence correct?. In vite one ss to circle the incorrect word in the sentence.
Invite another to write the correct word next to the sentence. Explain ss that each
sentence in the exercise containing one incorrect word that they need to find out
and correct it.
Further activities
- Ask ss to close their book for a memory game. Ask questions: “ How many baby
elephants are there? What time does Molly start work? Do the elephants eat
vegetables?...
- Discussion: what do you think about Molly? What will it be like doing your dream
job? what can you learn from the text?

Listening - Ask ss to predict what the listening is about.

- Ask sts to close their books and listen for the context
- Have them to open their books and listen again and do the exercise
- Listen again and check: Write all the answers on board. Wrong answers listen
again, then explain

Choose a ss to continue the sentence , adding a new word to the end, this ss then chooses
another ss, who says the sentence, adding a word to the end of it,…

each other about ther imaginary day at work.

- T write some random sentences on the board and invite ss to circle the commas,
underline “and” in each sentence.
