ABSTRACT

In today's fast-changing technological landscape, advancements have become

widespread, impacting various sectors. However, despite these advancements,

scholarship management systems in many local government units, such as the San Jose

City LGU in the Philippines, often rely on traditional methods. This traditional approach

cannot lessen the current management workload of HR staff, leading to challenges such

as handling simultaneous applications, sorting applicants based on various criteria, and

managing the application process manually. An enhanced Scholarship Management

System is proposed to streamline scholarship administration within the San Jose City

LGU. By making a modern technology, this system aims to reduce the administrative

workload and enhance communication channels. Through a user-friendly interface,

applicants, administrators, and other parties can conveniently access and manage

scholarship-related information, fostering accountability in the management of

educational resources. This study aims to design and develop a system to meet the

specific needs of the San Jose City LGU by embracing technological advancements.
