Level: Grade 3
Weekly lesson plan (June 24 -June 28)

Topic: Following the team rules & Activity

Objectives:
- To know how to write descriptive writing.
Teaching process
- Tell the class to read the title and predict what happens.
- Ask learners to look at the text and decide what kind of text this is a story, a play,
poem, why? Encourage them to give reasons for their answers.
- Point out the words from the text and students can find the words that is difficult for
them. Explain the words which are difficult for them.
- Tell the class. They are going to listen to the play. Play the audio two times. After that
check their answer is correct or not.
- Then, teacher needs to more explain the characters from this play and tells them how
to write descriptive writing.
Teaching Method
- Discussion and Activity
Assessment
- Draw a picture of an animal something funny. It can be a real animal or a make-
believe animal.
- For this activity, students need to think these facts:
 What does your animal look like?
 How many legs has it got?
 Has it got wings?
 Has it got fur?
 What is your animal doing?
- After that, put all the animal’s picture on the world.
Materials

- Text book, A4 papers, glue, picture


Topic: Choose a project /Quiz (Activity book)
Objectives:
- To know question words such as” when, how many, what”
- To apply for question words.
Teaching process
- Read the instruction from the learner’s book.
- Teacher needs to play audio for two times. After that, check their answer.
- If they confuse, play audio again.
- Explain for question words such as when, how many, what and so on….
Teaching Methods
-Listening practice.
-Teach with flash cards for wh…questions.

-Discussion and pair words.


Assessment (1)
-Read the text and write two questions it. Use question words like when---? How
many…? Are….? What……?
Bats have two legs and wings, but they are not birds. They are mammals. Bats are
the only mammals that fly. Bats fly at night. They eat insets.
Assessment (2)

1. Give each student three pieces of paper.


2. Ask students to brainstorm and write down three sentence questions.
3.Provide examples of full question sentences before students begin working:
 What is your favorite animal?
 Why do you like the color pink?
 What will you do after school today?
4. Once students have their three questions, have them stand in two lines facing each
other.

- After that, teacher points out and ask each student to check whether they recognize

- And, teacher also will play the game for vocabulary.

- Tell them to think about the activities that they learnt from this unit. After that, they

-Teacher will divide two teams such as boy and girl.
