Objective 2. to describe the pathway taken by water as it moves through a plant.
3. investigate the movement of water through stem and leaves 4. find out what transpiration is, why it happens, and conditions that affects its rate. By the end of the lessons, students should be able to: 1 Identify in diagrams and images root hair cells and state their functions Learning 2 State that the large surface area of root hairs increases the uptake of outcome water and mineral ions (s) 3 Outline the pathway taken by water through the root, stem and leaf as: root hair cells, root cortex cells, xylem, mesophyll cells 4 Investigate, using a suitable stain, the pathway of water through the above-ground parts of a plant 1. Teacher to prepare slides to cater both face to face and online. 2. Teacher does a set induction of the topic. 3. The teacher will give a lecture. Activities 4. Students are encouraged and prompted to answer. by step 5. Students are to jot down the notes given. 6. Session will be wrapped up with a recap.
