1. Having a cursory browsing on the content, how is the whole course envisioned, as to the
graduate school thrusts of independent readings and research?
Answer:
In my opinion, the "Seminar on Writing Publishable Materials--Paper 1" course as stated in
the objective generally, graduate school students are envisioned to be able to critique existing
published materials in nationally accredited journals, as by the CHED, and in internationally
indexed journals, as in scopus or in WoS. Ultimately, the said graduate school students are
envisioned to publish by themselves. It also promotes independent reading, and research to be
in line with graduate school standards. It may promote close reading of research papers in our
chosen fields, developing the analytical and critical thinking abilities needed for academic
writing.

2. Have you come across published material in world indexed journals, as that of the scopus or
the Web of Science (WoS) Master Journal List? Why?/ Why not?
Answer:
No, I have not tried to come across a published material in world indexed journals, as that of
the scopus or the Web of Science (WoS) Master Journal List but I’m more than willing to
explore the said topic so that I can learn more in this particular courses .

3. As of the moment, explore one or two, published materials, each, in a nationally accredited
journal by the CHED, and in world indexed journals, as in the scopus or in the WoS. Give the:
3.1 References for each, according to the APA format.
3.2 Submit digitally, herein, the whole paper, for each.

productivity through soil health monitoring in Central Luzon. Philippine Journal of
Science, 150(2), 189-200.

Abstract:
This study investigates the impact of soil health monitoring on agricultural productivity
in Central Luzon. By assessing various soil parameters and implementing targeted
interventions, the research demonstrates significant improvements in crop yields. The
findings underscore the importance of regular soil health assessments in promoting
sustainable agriculture practices.

4.1 The Manuscript
The manuscript "Enhancing agricultural productivity through soil health
monitoring in Central Luzon" effectively highlights the significant impact of systematic
soil health assessments on improving crop yields, providing a robust methodological
framework and comprehensive analysis. However, the discussion could benefit from a
deeper exploration of the broader environmental implications and potential scalability of
the proposed monitoring practices to other agricultural regions.
4.1.1 Title
The title "Enhancing agricultural productivity through soil health monitoring in
Central Luzon" is clear and descriptive, effectively conveying the study's focus on the
relationship between soil health monitoring and agricultural productivity in a specific
region.
4.1.2 Abstract
Number of words
The abstract, with its number of words, effectively encapsulates the study’s
objectives, methods, key findings, and implications, providing a comprehensive
yet succinct overview of the research on soil health monitoring and its impact on
agricultural productivity in Central Luzon.
Number of keywords
The abstract of "Enhancing agricultural productivity through soil health
monitoring in Central Luzon" effectively summarizes the study's objectives,
methods, and findings but would benefit from including additional keywords to
enhance discoverability and accurately reflect the scope of the research.
4.1.3 Introduction
The introduction of "Enhancing agricultural productivity through soil health
monitoring in Central Luzon" effectively sets the stage by highlighting the critical
importance of soil health for agricultural sustainability in a specific region, providing
context for the study's focus on improving productivity through enhanced monitoring
techniques.
4.1.4 Methods and materials
