The First Digital
Computer (1945)
The first electrical digital computer in history was the
Atanasoff-Berry Computer (ABC). Former professor
of mathematics at Iowa State John Vincent Atanasoff
Clifford Berry, a former graduate student in physics
and undergraduate in electrical engineering, besides
math and physics between 1937 to 1942, Iowa State
University developed the computer.
The History of
Android (2003-2005)
The history of Android started in October 2003. The four
founders of Android Inc. were Rich Miner, Nick Sears,
Chris White, and Andy Rubin. The company was
established in Palo Alto, California. The next major
chapter in the history of Android started in 2005, when
Google bought the original company. Rubin and the
other original members carried on.
Under its new owners, they are working on the OS. The
Android team and Google believed that the company
could make a profit by providing other services that
encompass applications.
Introduction of 5g
Internet (2019)
The fifth and newest broadband cellular network
technology standard is called 5G. It comes after a
string of earlier generations that started with 1G in
the 1980s. A new standard introducing new
technical advancements and improvements has
been introduced roughly every ten years.
Moreover, 5G provides enhanced capability to
manage numerous devices simultaneously.
Release of AI
GPT-3 (2020)
The strongest language model to date is GPT-3.
When it was first released in 2019, GPT-2, its
predecessor, could already produce reliable
streams. When presented with a starting sentence,
compose text in a variety of styles. GPT-3,
however, represents a significant advancement.
175 billion parameters make up the model.
