Delicious Cake Website

4. Description of Technology
For the "Delicious Cake" website, the use of HTML (HyperText Markup Language) and
CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) forms the foundation of its front-end development,
providing a seamless and visually appealing user experience. HTML is the standard
markup language used to create and structure the content of web pages. It enables the
placement of various elements such as headings, paragraphs, images, and links in a
coherent manner, ensuring that the website’s content is accessible and logically organized.

 HTML5, the latest version, introduces new elements and attributes that enhance the
semantic meaning of the web content, such as <article>, <section>, <nav>, and
<footer>, making it easier for both developers and search engines to understand the
structure of the website.

 CSS, on the other hand, is used to control the presentation, formatting, and layout of
the HTML elements. By separating content from design, CSS allows for greater
flexibility and control in the appearance of the website. It enables the styling of various
elements with colors, fonts, spacing, and positioning, contributing to the overall
aesthetic appeal. For example, CSS can be used to create a visually appealing cake
catalog with a responsive grid layout that adjusts according to the screen size, ensuring
that users on different devices, such as desktops, tablets.

 CSS3, the latest iteration, introduces advanced features like animations, transitions,
and flexbox layouts, which enhance the interactivity and dynamic nature of the
website. These features can be utilized to create smooth hover effects on cake images,
animated banners for promotions, and responsive navigation menus that enhance user
engagement.

 HTML and CSS form the backbone of the "Delicious Cake" website, ensuring that it is
not only functional but also visually attractive and user-friendly. They provide the
essential tools for structuring content and applying styles that make the website
appealing and accessible, contributing to a positive user experience.
