wants them to be united with Him.
God never leaves His people because He is a faithful God.
God's plan of love in the Old Testament is to bring us together in the

them to be united with Him.
God never leaves his people because he is a faithful God.
God’s mercy and fidelity is shown clearly in the Old Testament, beginnig
from the story of the first man and woman and the prophets/
God created humans out of love. There are proofs in the account of
creation that will show this love.
1. He created the first man and woman in his image and like ness.
2. He gave them the power to think, to decide and to love.
3. He also placed them in the beautiful Garden of Eden.
When he was disobeyed by the man and woman he punished them Yet at
the same time he showed them mercy.
Gen. 3:15 expressed that God is loving and merciful and this love and
mercy shall experience by the coming generations who will bear the
consequence of the sins they committed
In the passage Gad promised a Savior He will establish a feud between
the serpent- which is the devil and woman referring to Mary. Jesus is the
seed of Mary that will be curshing the head of the devil signifying the
defeat of sin that the devil brought to the world.

woman when he call Abraham.

The Israelites; the descendant of Abraham, ended in Egypt as slaves.
The Egyptians made them suffer so that they would not grw in numbers.
The Israelites called to God in desperation to relieve them of their
slavery.
God called Moses
7
Moses obeyed God and was sent to talk to the pharaoh
But the Pharaoh did not listen to Moses so God send plagues to punish
the Egyptians.
The succeeding events in the life of the Israel show God almighty power
to save them.
He made them cross the Red Sea amidst the Egyptians who are pursuing
them.
When they grow hungry in the wilderness He feed them.
The greatest sign of the love of God to the Israelite is in a form of
covenant.
With Moses as the mediator He invited the Israelites to be his people.
He would protect his people, the Israel as long as they would worship
him.
The terms of the Covenet are the Ten Commandments.
The Israelites gladly accepted God’s invitation. But they two are too
stubborn to keep their promise to God.
They would test God by falling to sin, they worship idols and many sinful
actions. But God never cease of forgiving them and saving them.
They were subjected to conquerors but God save them.
God sent messengers in a form of the prophets reminding them of God’s
Covenant with them.
They would ask for a king, god gave them Saul as their King but even
him is unfaithful. Then God make David as King of Israel.
8
God promised that the Savior would come from the descendants of
David.
Solomon is the son of David, he too is a great King God bestowed on him
wisdom. He built he temple of Jerusalem.
But he was influenced by his wives who were pagans. By this Solomon
fall and Israel fall to conquerors until they were exile in Babylon.
Amidst their hardships God sent prophets to give the Israelites hope. One
of them is a young man nmaed Jeremiah.
He sent this message of God to them; “I will establish a new covenant
with you, one that is not curved in stone but written in your heart.” (Jer.
31:31-32). This new covenant is a covenat f love to be fulfilled by Jesus.
