Sustaining an ICT Project
1 for Social Change
After planning, designing, developing, and launching your website there
is another important work that you must do and that is maintaining your
website so that it sustains its operation and ensures that it runs at full
capacity. Proper maintenance of your site helps you to ensure site security,
increase the number of new visitors, improve visitors experience, boost
returning traffic, and more.

Which of the two websites is frequently visited by netizens? Why?
2. Update Regularly
Updating the content increases the relevance of the site. You can update
by posting recent events and news about your advocacy to make your
site more likeable to your visitors. Updating and maintaining your
website makes it up and running.
3. Give it a Makeover.
Looks is very important in the web. Study shows that people judge a
website based on its homepage and overall design. So, we should find
time to make our website more appealing and organize. You can make
your website more engaging by keeping the layout simple, making
navigation easy to follow, use clear calls to action, use attractive and
easy-to-read fonts, enhance website design with eye-catching colors,
and engage users with video and rich images.
4
6. Create a Sense of Community
With the advent of internet connectivity people now can share their
thoughts and opinions easily. This encourages the netizens to share
their thoughts on the matter that they feel most connected with. That
is why the website must have a sense of community where visitors can
express their ideas and opinions freely. This can be done through posts,
comments, forums, and threads where the visitor can communicate
with the author directly. By actively engaging the readers or visitors, it
increases the credibility and success of the website.
