Meinhardt was engaged to carry out the Infrastructure Master Planning &
Detailed Design for the Bengal NRI Complex, a 67 acre Sui Generis
Township Development. This was the first development of its kind in Kolkata
comprising 150 independent residential bungalows, a recreational building,
2 towers of G+41 storeys, 5 towers of G+35storey, and 1 level of basement
car park.
The proposed site is located on Velacherry Main Road which is the heart of
the City. The development will consist of 8 blocks of 16 storey with three
basements for services and car parking. It shall also consist of 204 units for
economically weaker sections within the development. The total
development shall be 1.4 million square feet spread over 6 acres of land-
parcel.

The data centre was fitted out with resilient IT infrastructure capable of
integrating information across locations and provided centralised
repository in a secure environment.
The development is spread over 25 acres of land & will offer around 2.45
million sq. ft of international standard office accommodation for technology
companies. In addition to the office buildings, the campus will offer
facilities such as food courts, multipurpose halls, coffee break areas, retail
shops, banks, restaurants, travel agencies, book shops, sundry shops,
gymnasium, health club, covered basement, stilted and surface car
parking and other recreational facilities. The buildings have been
designed to be built in four separate phases with a major focus on outside
landscape and amenity areas that will give the overall development a
“campus” like feel.
The Hilton Hotel at Chennai is a five star 253 room deluxe hotel. The
development comprises a 9 storey building with three levels of basement.
The total built-up area is approximately 200,000 sq.ft. Meinhardt provided
Integrated Engineering Design services including Civil, Structural,
Mechanical and Electrical services.
Equipped with a swimming pool, gym, floodlit tennis court, yoga room,
coffee shop, a three-storey, air-conditioned shopping store and a new-age
club facility, Silver Spring boasts of redefining the residential experience
by keeping in sync with the latest in lifestyle.
With a total plot area of 612, 996 sq.ft., the project is marked by futuristic
and elegant architectural design, energy-saving materials and the lavish
landscaping.
Besides the Main Stadium, the indoor sports facilities include Badminton
& Volleyball courts; Gymnastic & Judo rings. The outdoor sport facilities
feature a Shooting Range, Practice Track; Acquatic centre; Tennis Courts;
and Kho-Kho & Kabaddi grounds. The state-of-the-art complex also
includes 3 hostel blocks and an Administrative Building.
Meinhardt was appointed as the consultant for the preparation of the City
Development Plan (CDP). The CDP for Ranchi is a vision for the city for
the next coming 20-25 years with a main aim to access funds from the
JNNURM for the development plans that have to be undertaken for a
period of 7 years.

THE EDITION, Singapore
Proposed 20-storey luxury hotel with two levels of basement for carparks,
sky terraces, swimming pool, commercial and ancillary facilities and carpark
lots over drainage reserve. Estimated GFA of 10,043 m2. The project is
located at Cuscaden Road (Orchard Planning Area) adjacent to existing
Stamford Canal, St Regis Residences and Tanglin Shopping Mall.
Meinhardt provided Civil and Structural engineering consultancy for the 16-
storey hotel at China Square. It is operated by Frasers Hospitality under the
"Capri by Fraser" brand. Total gross floor area of 16,000 square metres.

Meinhardt has been appointed the MEP engineering consultant for the
newest landmark in Singapore’s Central Business District. The development
is situated partly above the Tanjong Pagar MRT Station which presents
challenging constraints for the design and construction of the project.

Westin Singapore at Asia Square Towers, Singapore
Asia Square comprises of two towers. Together, they offer two million sqft
of Grade A office space, 60,000 sqft of retail, a 280-room Westin hotel and
a open public space. This mixed-use development is designed to combine
efficiency with sustainability. Some of the energy conserving technologies
include solar photovoltaic panels for electricity production, chilled water
supply for air-conditioning, and intelligent lighting management system.
As a result of these measures, Asia Square is expected to achieve an
estimated energy savings of 10 million kWh per year and water savings of
about 70,000 m3 per year.
Besides winning the Green Mark Platinum Award from the Building and
Construction Authority (BCA) of Singapore, Asia Square also received the
Leadership in Energy and Environment Core & Shell (LEED-CS) Gold
precertification from the US Green Building Council.

The hotel is part of Bugis Junction complex covering a gross floor area of
a 500-room 5-star hotel, an office block, 2 levels of carpark for 1,000 cars
and a retail shopping centre integrated with existing shophouses to be
conserved and upgraded for adaptive commercial re-use within the new
development.
5-star hotel development with 375 keys rooms and 11 keys for service
apartment. Total GFA is 80,691m2.
The project has an estimated total GFA of 55,000 sqm. (including the 325-
room Regent Ningbo hotel with GFA of 30~35,000 sqm and a 180-unit
serviced apartment building with GFA of 15~20,000 sqm).
Hotel portion consists of a15-storey guest room floors (total 358 rooms)
and a 8-storey service apartment floors (total 110 rooms) sitting on a 2
floor and 3 basement podium complex. The podium complex consists of a
grand lobby, Ballroom, restaurants, coffee shop, lounge, 2-storey retails,
specialty restaurant, a spa club and an indoor swimming pool.
5-star hotel development with 360 keys rooms and 11 keys for service
apartment. Total GFA is 72,994m2.
Meinhardt is responsible for the full M&E design of this 21-storey hotel
development (total 462 rooms) and 5-storey podium consist of ballroom,
restaurants, lounge, leisure centre, retail, business centre, meeting rooms
and health club. GFA of 56,520m2.
Meinhardt was responsible for the building services, civil, structural and
geotechnical design for the Hotel development. The Hotel is approx. 27
acres located at the seaside of the new reclaimed land for the Hong Kong
Penny’s Bay Theme Park. It is a 4-star resort type hotel of approx. 600
keys, consisting of a low-rise 10-storey building resting on raft foundation
with one theme restaurant, fast food shop, retail shops and swimming
pool. Project includes innovative use of precast.
The project comprises a four star hotel with a 2 level basement, a 6-storey
podium for commercial, food outlets, ball rooms and a 23 storey tower for
391 guestrooms with 56,000m² GFA.

The new contemporary five star city resort is located in prestigious Rama I
Road, on the former site of the Siam Intercontinental Hotel and will feature
water features and landscaped gardens.
The Siam Kempinski Hotel has approx. 300 rooms including suites and
garden cabanas and the complex also includes serviced apartments, with
a private roof-top swimming pool, and is linked to a luxury shopping
development.

Hilton Hotel at Melbourne Airport, Australia
Meinhardt were the principal structural consulting engineers for the Hilton
Airport Hotel. The building consists of 9 levels with a roof plant, 272 hotel
rooms and is approximately 170m in length. The hotel structure was built
over an existing 3 level car park, levels 1 to 3 of the hotel consist of a new
stair and lift core built within the existing car park levels to service the
hotel rooms above. Level 4 contains the conference, gymnasium and
swimming pool facilities, while level five contains the kitchen and
restaurant facilities and levels 6 to 9 the hotel rooms.
To minimise the weight and height of the hotel structure levels 4 and 5
were constructed as a steel beam and concrete composite floor system,
with concrete columns, stair and lift cores. Levels 6 to 9 were constructed
as flat plate post tensioned concrete floors with precast concrete dividing
walls at 8400mm centres.
The stability of the building from level 1 to level 5 is via the new stair and
lift core and from level 6 to 9 via the precast concrete dividing walls and
exit stair shafts at each end of the building.

The Four Seasons Place is a high end hotel and residential development
with a retail podium component to accommodate luxury boutiques and
restaurants. The 76 storey hotel and residential tower will be one of the
tallest landmarks in the Kuala Lumpur cityscape, standing at 342m height
when completed. The development is strategically positioned next to the
Petronas Twin Towers and KLCC Suria Shopping Centre. Within the
bustling city centre, the KLCC Park immediately south of the development
provides an oasis of green and tranquility. The project is currently at the
detailed design stage and Meinhardt is engaged to provide civil and
structural consulting engineering services. The project is highly
challenging due to the tower’s height and aspect ratio.

The Dubai Marina Mall is the shopping and lifestyle destination located in
the heart one of Dubai’s most dynamic waterfront community, the Dubai
Marina. The Dubai Marina Mall features160 stores and a revolutionary 6-
storey Gourmet Tower dedicated to world cuisine. Adjoining the mall is a
40-storey luxury hotel with over 642 rooms and serviced apartments. The
complex is also supported by over 3,500 car parking lots.

This was the previous Asian Hotel in Shenzhen which was structurally
completed with main M&E services installed. Shangri-la acquired this
hotel in 1991 and completed the fit-out of the building.

Site testing, structural design work and documentation were provided for
the renovation of this historical hotel in Macau. Construction including
under-pinning one complete corner of the building was carried out during

Meinhardt was the MEP Engineering consultant for SBF Center which
comprises one block of 31-storey office tower with an 8-storey podium for
Medical Suites, F&B and retail and two levels of basement for car parks.
The project is a premier commercial development at the heart of
Singapore’s Central Business District.
SBF Center was awarded BCA Green Mark Platinum for its remarkable
green features, which include an energy-efficient cooling and lighting
system, and a high thermal performance façade, among others. The
development also received other accolades such as Best Green
Development in South East Asia and Singapore, and Best Commercial
Development (Singapore) at the South East Asia Property Awards 2015
and acknowledged in the Office Category for FIABCI Singapore Property
Awards 2017.

Meinhardt has been appointed the MEP engineering consultant for the
newest landmark in Singapore’s Central Business District. The development
is situated partly above the Tanjong Pagar MRT Station which presents
challenging constraints for the design and construction of the project.
Asia Square comprises of two towers. Together, they offer two million sqft
of Grade A office space, 60,000 sqft of retail, a 280-room Westin hotel and
a open public space. This mixed-use development is designed to combine
efficiency with sustainability. Some of the energy conserving technologies
include solar photovoltaic panels for electricity production, chilled water
supply for air-conditioning, and intelligent lighting management system.
As a result of these measures, Asia Square is expected to achieve an
estimated energy savings of 10 million kWh per year and water savings of
about 70,000 m3 per year.
Besides winning the Green Mark Platinum Award from the Building and
Construction Authority (BCA) of Singapore, Asia Square also received the
Leadership in Energy and Environment Core & Shell (LEED-CS) Gold
precertification from the US Green Building Council.

Twin office towers - one 50-storey high, soaring 245m above ground and
the other 29-storey high with a 17m deep basement housing the District
Cooling System plant. The project encompassing a gross floor area of
214,000 sqm includes a large hub and tenants' multi-level carpark, some
retail/food and beverage facilities and Singapore's first commercially
applied District Cooling System housed within a private project. The 150m
long subterranean mall crossing beneath the busy roads connects the
new development with Ocean Building and Raffles Place MRT station.

The Sail@Marina Bay, Singapore

Located in the prime business district of Raffles Place, The Sail @ Marina
Bay is an iconic new landmark and the first residential development in the
new downtown of Singapore at Marina Bay. Meinhardt provided integrated
Structural and MEP engineering services for this two distinctive towers of 70
and 63-storey. The development includes a 6-storey podium housing a hub
and tenants carpark and a retail basement with links to adjoining buildings
and Raffles Place MRT station. The towers are one of the most slender
with aspect ratios of 10.9 and 10.2 respectively. Seismic design whilst not a
mandatory requirement in Singapore has been adopted - to provide
additional safety and integrity of this prestigious project. The sculpturous
architectural design resembling a sail with a glass façade was conceived by
New York based architect NBBJ in association with Team Design Architects
of Singapore. Kiat Inc were the architectural advisor for the developers -
City Development Ltd and AIG Group, USA.

Meinhardt worked with Kevin Roche, Philip Johnson and John Burgee
Architects from USA in providing integrated civil, structural and MEP
engineering services for this US$1 billion development. The project
comprises Millenia Tower (42-storey office tower - 218m tall), Centennial
Tower (37-storey office tower extendable to 52-storey), 32-storey Ritz
Carlton Millenia Hotel (610 rooms), 32-storey Conrad Hotel (509 rooms)
and a 3-storey Millenia Walk retail podium with 2 level basement carpark.

to 21m amid surrounding buildings.
