It is with great delight that I am seeking to secure a position as an elementary


teacher in your school. Believing that basic education is the most important stage
in the learning growth of an individual, I wish to render my service in your
reputed institution to fulfill my goal to be a public servant through teaching.

With my good instructional abilities, combined with my superior interpersonal

I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education in 2015 and served as


a grade 1 teacher in St. Scholastica’s Academy Marikina for two good years. I just
past the recent Licensure Examination for Teachers which made me qualified for a
teaching position in a public school.

Knowing that Basic Education is a vital stage for young learners, I hope to
encourage my future pupils to improve their inner strengths and abilities while
discovering their other potentials. I want to provide a stimulating learning
environment that motivates the young to trust their own stand while respecting
others. I want to be one of those people who develop their confidence at a
young age while teaching them the necessary values and discipline for them to
become successful individuals of their generation.

Due to my previous teaching experiences, I have discovered that the method of


facilitating instead of dictating is the best teaching style. I have realized that
students learn best when you trust them to learn by themselves while providing
the guidance they need. With this realization, I would like to devote my time
guiding and teaching more students in the future. I know I am in the right career
path and I am sure that this passion will never cease.
Through teaching in your school, I hope to instill a love of learning and a longing
for continuous learning within each pupil.

Dear Sir;

As mentioned above, I am stating my desire to secure the position of a TLE


teacher that your school is seeking for. I have finished my bachelor’s degree in
Secondary Education major in TLE March 2014 and have previously served as a
TLE teacher in the only private school I belonged to for three years.

I passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers in September 2014 and has
started pursuing my graduate studies last year. I am enrolled under the program
of Master of Arts in Instruction and Supervision major in Home Economics.
My educational background and my interest in the development of the students
led me to join in different teacher training programs which honed my skills in
teaching the discipline I have chosen.

In experience as a secondary school teacher, I taught grade 7 to grade 10


students. In the period of three years, I have given effective classroom
management, dynamic activities, well-constructed and student centered lesson
plans, detailed student evaluations and well-complimented instructional delivery.
Managing the different abilities of my students proved a difficult but gratifying
challenge. I facilitated interesting but equally challenging activities to maintain
their interest of my high-level students without intimidating the less-skilled ones.

Attached in this letter is my curriculum vitae which gives you the contact number
of my previous superiors for your reference.

It is my aim to match my range of experience with my ability to be a


compassionate and dynamic teacher who will make a positive contribution to

established institution. I was told by a friend that you are looking for Science
teachers for the opening of school year 2019-2020. Given my qualifications, I
believe that I am qualified to teach in your school.

I graduated with honors last March 2017 from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng


Maynila with bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education major in Science and
passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers in September 2017.

To continue to develop myself academically, I started pursuing my graduate


degree in November 2017 enrolling in the Graduate School of Polytechnic
University of the Philippines. My degree of concentration is Master of Arts in
Educational Management major in Science.

Though I haven’t had a teaching experience yet, I believe that I am ready to take
the responsibilities of a teacher as I have already equipped myself with skills and
learnings which I have gained through the series of lectures I attended in the
graduate school and in the different seminars and trainings I attended in the past.

I chose to submit my application in your institution as my colleagues told me that


you provide a very good opportunity to your teachers to hone their skills and to
improve themselves by participating in various professional development
workshops and trainings in and out of the school. I also did a little research about
the schools here in Marikina and your school appears to be the best in most
aspects. I believe choosing what is best can bring out the best in people like me
who want to improve continuously.

I am hoping that you will give me an opportunity to have my first teaching


experience in your reputed school.
