Rationale
Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) program, an Institutionalized Computer Advanced Education subject can play a critical role in

Course Description
This course offers an in-depth exploration of advanced computer systems and technologies essential for modern IT professionals. Designed for students seeking
to deepen their understanding of sophisticated concepts, the course covers advanced topics in areas such as system architecture, network security, cloud

CLASS POLICIES AND NOTICES


1. PROPER DECORUM. Students should respect everyone in class. Students are also requested put away and not to use mobile phones and other electronic
devices unless necessary. Sleeping in the class is strongly discouraged. Activities that may disrupt the class are discouraged, e.g. shouting, boisterous laughter, etc.
2. LEARNING ENVIRONMENT. Students are encouraged to participate in all course activities. Likewise, students are requested to take care of the facilities of
the School, e.g. computers, workspaces, laboratory equipment, etc.
3. MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION. Students and teachers are highly encouraged to use English as the official medium of instruction in all academic endeavors.
Classroom discussions, examinations, etc. are all to be delivered in English. Code switching, unless extremely necessary, is discouraged.
4. TARDINESS. In pursuance to the policies in the student handbook, students are requested to observe the grace period for tardiness (15 minutes). Students
arriving 15 minutes after the class has started will be marked absent for the meeting.
5. ABSENCES. Students are to observe the number of allowable absences for the course (5 absences). Going beyond the allowable absences will give the student a
FINAL GRADE of NCA (No Credit due to Absences).
6. COURSE UPDATES AND CONSULTATION. Students are encouraged to consult with their instructors for course-related concerns. Consultation hours are
posted accordingly. Further, formal appointments for consultations are appreciated.
7. COMPLIANCE OF COURSE REQUIREMENTS. Students are encouraged to observe punctual compliance of the requirements to avoid penalties (as
imposed by the instructor), or INCs for final mark. Follow modes of submission as required by the instructor. Students may comply with the requirements
individually, by pair, or in groups, as required by the instructor.
8. ACADEMIC DISHONESTY. Stipulations in the Student Handbook against cheating and other forms of academic dishonesty will strongly be imposed. If
needed, references and sources should be properly cited in any requirements.
