1. Introduction
The proposed Quiz Management System is a web-based application designed to streamline
the process of conducting and managing quizzes in an educational setting. This system targets
both educators and students, aiming to enhance the learning experience by providing an
interactive platform for quizzes, immediate feedback, and efficient quiz management.

2. Scope of System
The scope of the Quiz Management System encompasses defining the parameters and
objectives of the system. This includes specifying the intended users, such as educators and
students, and elucidating the primary goals of the system, which involve streamlining quiz
management processes and enhancing the learning experience. Furthermore, the scope
delineates the key features and functionalities that the system will offer, ensuring clarity on
what functionalities are within the system's purview.

3. Existing System
In traditional educational settings, quiz management typically involves manual processes,
such as paper-based quizzes and manual grading. This can be time-consuming and error-
prone. Students often do not receive feedback immediately, hindering their learning process.
Additionally, educators may find it challenging to create diverse quizzes and manage them
effectively.

The Main Objective of Online Quiz is User-friendly systems are not only needed for the
creator, but also for participants. A responsive design is an approach where the web designer
wants to reach an optimal web experience for a wide range of devices. Multiple choice is the
options you can use with our online Quiz system. Having more than one option is necessary
to check several types of knowledge. Auto quiz publish, log in with username and password.
Automatically check answers and give the result to the students.
4. Proposed System
Our proposed Quiz Management System seeks to address the limitations of traditional quiz
management by providing the following key features:

• Interactive Quiz Creation: Educators can create quizzes with different question
formats (e.g., multiple-choice, true/false, short-answer) using an intuitive interface.
This promotes engagement and dynamic assessment experiences.
• Real-time Feedback: Students receive instant feedback after completing a quiz. This
feedback helps them understand their mistakes and improve their understanding of
the subject matter.
• User-Friendly Interface: The system offers an easy-to-use interface for both educators
and students. This reduces the learning curve and makes the system accessible to
users with varying levels of technical proficiency.
• Flexibility in Question Types: Educators can leverage a versatile question bank,
allowing for adaptability and variety in quiz creation. This enables them to cater to
different learning styles and assess various aspects of student knowledge.

5. Modules
A prototype of a web-based placement Quiz system is an easy-to-use, customizable online
testing solution for business, training & educational assessment with Test & Quizzes graded
instantly saving your hours of paperwork.

The system is composed of several key modules that work together to create an integrated
quiz management platform:

• User Management: Handles user registration and login, ensuring secure access to the
system.
• Quiz Creation: Allows educators to create quizzes, add questions, and set parameters
such as time limits and scoring criteria.
• Quiz Time: Facilitates the execution of quizzes by providing a platform for students to
join and complete quizzes within a specified timeframe.
• Results: Generates detailed reports on quiz outcomes, providing educators with
insights into student performance and areas for improvement.
6. Software and Hardware Requirements
The system requires the following software and hardware components:

Software:

• PHP (5.3.9) with MySQL for database management.

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript for front-end.
• Oracle 10g for secure storage of quiz-related information.

Hardware:

• Standard Windows or Linux system for creating and accessing quizzes.

• Basic Intel Core i3 or equivalent processor for smooth system operation.
• 2GB RAM or higher to support the application's functionality.

7. Feasibility Study
Technical Feasibility
The project's technical implementation is feasible given the availability of required tools and
technologies.

Economical Feasibility
The project requires minimal hardware and software resources, making it economically
viable.

Operational Feasibility
The system aims to streamline quiz management processes, making it operationally feasible.
8. Input Output Screens
The system encompasses various input and output screens, including user registration, login,
quiz creation, quiz time, feedback, and results. Each screen serves a specific purpose within
the context of the overall system, facilitating a seamless user experience.
