    PREPARATION OF BANKABLE PROJECT FOR VARIOUS


    AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS AND ITS VALUE ADDED PRODUCTS.
    Establishment of RAS in Uttarakhand for Rainbow Trout Production
    The farming of Rainbow Trout has been to a limited extent in Uttarakhand due
    to lack of knowledge and high costing of Race way installments. The main
    Aquaculture species in Uttarakhand are Chinese carps, Tilapia and IMCs in
    the Tarai regions of Bazpur and Kashipur Areas. The areas having trout
    culture are Pithoragarh and Chamoli District (High Hill regions of Himalayas),
    and the hatcheries are owned by a few private agencies apart from the
    Government Hatcheries of ICAR DIRECTORATE OF COLDWATER FISHERIES
    RESEARCH.
    . GLOBAL MEAN EXPORT PRICE
    The global mean export price of Rainbow Trout per Kilogram is $ 4.59. as per
    12th December 2019.Where as the production cost per kilogram is $ 1.75
    .The variation of Export price and Production can enlighten the hefty profit
    margin in per kilo of Trout Export.
