Diminished Scales & Exercises

Standard tuning
= 120
The diminished scale is octatonic, meaning there are 8 notes in the scale as opposed to most common scales that contain 7 or the pentatonic which contains 5.
The anatomy of this scale allows for the fingerings to repeat themselves as you go up the scale practicing it in different inversions.
There are primarily 2 different fingerings for this scale.
I have written them out for all 8 positions but you'll notice that the fingerings only vary between two configurations.
