Installation of Application Software

2. Procedure to configure the PC for R920

!ATTENTION!: Databases from former software versions must not be

integrated into the version 2015.00.04 due to incompatibility of the software
versions.
Step Instructions Notes
1.  Build up PC and Monitor

2.  Start the PC. Now the Windows

This screen will appear when the procedure is finished. Operating system will
be installed and the
desktop will be
prepared.

3.  Double-click on [Lnk920.cmd] button The Windows will start

automatically to
configure the system for
working with the
Respons 920.
This process will take
approximately 8 min.

4.  Click the [Shutdown] Button, when the following screen The green screen with
appears. the OK appears when
the windows is
configured to work with
the R920. With the click
on [Shutdown] the
process will be finalized.

5  Choose AddInst as a User The User has to be

 Enter “DiaUser” as Password selected during the start
Up. Then a blue screen
with two button
“respons” and
“AddInst” will be
displayed.

3. How to install the Software

1.  Insert the Installation CD in your CD Drive. On most computers

the installer will start
automatically when
you insert the R920
Installation disc. If not,
the installer can be

launched manually by
accessing the CD drive
via the “My Computer”
icon.

2.  Select the folder MLrespons920v2015.00.04 and you will get the

following screen

3.  Open the Setup-folder by double clicking. You will get the As a type for the file

4.  Confirm by clicking [Next]

5.  Confirm by clicking [Next] when you see the following screen Here in this screen the

6..  Confirm by clicking [Next] when the following screen appears After clicking on [Next],

7..  Click on [Close] to exit the installer of the software. When the “Installation
Complete” screen

7.  Open the MLrespons920v2015.00.04 – folder again .



8.  Open the Database Utility folder. The following screen will appear

9. !ATTENTION!: Databases from former software versions

 Open the [Database Utility.exe]. The window below will be

opened.

11.  Click on the [Browse File]- button and select suitable database,
e.g. “MLrespons _with ISE.BKP” which you´ll find on your CD on !! Do not use
top level of the directory structure. In case you are installing “MultiXL.BKP” in
analyzer without ISE then you have to choose MLrespons_without folder
ISE.BKP \MLrespons920v2015.

 After selecting the right database click on [Create Database]

After selecting this

button the Integration
of the database is
started. This process
will take about 5 min.

12.  Click on [OK] when the following window opens.

13.  After pressing on [OK] the window below will be opened.

 Select the MultiXL.bkp file and confirm with [Open]. After clicking on open
the database
intergrtion process wil
go further.

14. At the end of the

database integration
process the message
“All corresponding
database created
successfully” is shown.
This is the end of the
integration process.

15  Click on the [Check Database]-button. The following message This step is necessary

database is correctly
integrated into the
software

16 Open the MLrespons920 software via the software icon on the

desktop

 Type in Guest as Login ID and Password, when you get the

following screen
