    SUBJECT : SUBMISSION OF NARRATIVE REPORT OF LAWIN FOREST


    AND BIODIVERSITY PROTECTION SYSTEM FOOT PATROL

    DATE : July 15, 2024

    Respectfully submitted herewith, is the narrative report on the conducted LAWIN Forest
    and Biodiversity patrolling for the Forest Conservation Area (FCA) of Mt. Paraya, Salvador,
    Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur for the month of July 2024.

    Please be informed that the undersigned team conducted the aforementioned foot patrol
    on July 2-5, 2024. The team started at around 8:49 am in the area of Barangay Salvador, Purok 4
    with (coordinates 51P527915909774), to Purok 5 and ended at Siteo Manguto Brgy. Salvador
    with (coordinates 8*14’44" “N 123*14 55”E) Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur. Per recorded
    observation, the forest condition of the area was early secondary growth forest having a sparse
    density category and open cultivated with a category of sparse density of regenerants. The team
    observe naturally grown trees such as White Lauan trees (Shorea contorta) and planted trees
    such as Falcata (Falcataria falcata) and Mahogany (Swietenia marcophylla).

    During the monitoring in the said area, the team has not encountered any presence of
    illegal activities.

    The team accomplished a total of 9.51 kilometers with a total no. of 115 waypoints.

    Attached hereto are Geo tagged photos for reference.
