BRIEF INTRODUCTION

Home Security Equipment: 8 channels CCTV have different parts and

functions. In order for an EPAS student to repair and service an 8 channel CCTV,
he/she should be familiarized with it.
In this topic you are about to learn the basic function of the rear parts of an
8 channels CCTV.

All home security systems work on the same basic principle of securing entry
points, like doors and windows, as well as interior space containing valuables
like art, computers, guns, and coin collections. Regardless of the size of your
home, or the number of doors and windows or interior rooms a homeowner
decides to protect, the only real difference is in the number of security
components deployed throughout the home and monitored by the control
panel. https://www.safewise.com/home-security-faq/how-do-security-systems-work/

Surveillance is used in identifying

potential targets based on security
precautions, and it may go on for
days or even weeks. Surveillance of
a person who has consistent
routines and takes very few
precautions will generally take less
time that surveillance on someone
that is constantly changing his
schedule. Having a well-established
routine will make it easier for
someone to keep tabs on you.

REMEMBER

 CCTV is an important safeguard that cannot be undervalued. But a

surveillance system is only as good as the maintenance and upkeep it is
given.

 DVRs are used with analog cameras. It's important to note that
a DVR based system is a wired security system, whereas NVR systems can
be a wired or wireless system.

 To avoid surveillance, it is important to take a few simple precautions. Vary

the times that you will travel and the routes that you take. Make sure that you
are familiar with the route that you are traveling, and always have alternative
routes prepared.
