INTERVIEW TIP
In a typical interview you’ll be asked “why are you interested in this role?” or “why are you interested in
working at our company?”. Use this interview tip to explain why you want the job.
“Why are you interested in this role?”
I recently participated in JPMorgan’s Excel skills for business job simulation on the Forage platform, and it
was incredibly useful to learn the fundamental Excel skills required by an analyst at JPMorgan, and to apply
these concepts in a realistic business context using account sales data.
Through this program I realized that I really enjoy creating dashboards and storytelling using data, and
excelled at writing macro scripts using VBA, and would love to apply what I've learned in a banking team at
JPMorgan.
