Introduction
These labs were prepared to demonstrate how to create a Pick Load page template and associated them to a Mobile
Picking page.

They were developed to assist an application support analyst by:

» Introducing navigation through the Oracle Warehouse Management (WMS) forms


» Listing detail steps for the setup and use of various functions available in Oracle Warehouse Management (WMS).
» In this lab, we will show how to users can create a pick load page template to personalize the mobile pick load page to
suite the task type being performed on the Mobile application.

Perquisites
Analyst should have a basic understanding of the below modules so that the labs can be well followed.

» Oracle Inventory
» Oracle Warehouse Management

Typographic Conventions Used in Oracle Application Navigation Paths in this document

(N) Warehouse Manager > Inquiry – > Warehouse Control Board This simplified

path translates to the following:

Choose Warehouse Manager Responsibility > Navigate Inquiry then Warehouse Control board. After selecting Source
and Status, you will see more options, enter Order numbers and then click on ‘Find’ button to query Tasks.

Notations Used in the Lab

» (N) = Navigator
» (M) = Menu
» (T) = Tab
» (B) = Button
» (H)= Hyperlink
» (ST) = SubTab

Define Pick Load Page Template
Perform the following steps to define a new Pick Load page Template.

1. Login to the application and choose responsibility = Warehouse Manager

2. Navigate : Setup -> Warehouse Configuration -> Tasks -> Pick Load Page Setup

3. Enter the below details to add a new Template


• Name = XXGEN_PICK

• Description = XX General Pick Template for Org XW1


4. Optionally, select Common to all Orgs to enable this template for all organizations.

5. Under General Tab, enter the following details as show in table below

7. Under Buttons Tab, enter the following details as show in table below

8. Under Page Level Tab, enter the following details as show in table below. Leave the other field values
default as shown

9. Press ‘Enabled’ check box

10. Press Save Icon or use (Ctrl+S) to save

Define a Pick Load Template Using Copy Feature
Perform the following steps to create a new template by copying an existing Seeded pick load template and modifying
the parameters

1. Login to the application and choose responsibility = Warehouse Manager

2. Navigate : Setup -> Warehouse Configuration -> Tasks -> Pick Load Page Setup

3. Query an existing seeded template ‘EXP_PICK’

4. Select Copy Template from the Tools menu


5. Enter Name = XX_EXPPICK
6. Enter Description = Copy Of Default Express Pick Load and Drop Configuration

7. Press ‘Enabled’ check box

8. Press Save Icon or use (Ctrl+S) to save

Associate Pick Load Page Template to Mobile Pick Load Page


Each Mobile page is associated with a Form Function. The Form Function parameters control the appearance and
behavior Mobile Pick Load page. To attach the Pick load page template to a Mobile Pick Load page, identify the Form
function associated with the Mobile Pick Load Page and then associate a template using the UI parameters of the
form function

Perform the following steps to associate the user defined pick load page template - ‘XXGEN_PICK’ to Mobile Order
Picking Page

Identify the Form Function for Mobile Page

Perform the following steps to find the Form Function Name associated with a Mobile Order Picking Page.

1. Using Mobile GUI application, connect to Mobile Application Server. Enter the Host Name and Port#

2. Login to the application and choose responsibility = Whse Mgmt

3. Navigate : Tasks > Directed Tasks -> Outbound > Order Picking

4. In the Pick load Page , Press Ctrl x using keyboard to view the About Page

5. The value for field ‘Function’ is the Form Function Name of the Mobile Order Picking page. i.e. Mobile
WMS Tasks Outbound Order

Associate Pick Load Page Template to Mobile Page

Perform the following steps to associate the Pick Load page template created earlier to Form Function Name
associated with a Mobile Order Picking Page

1. Login to the application and choose responsibility = System Administrator

2. Navigate : Application -> Function

3. Press F11. Enter User Function Name = Mobile WMS Tasks Outbound Order

4. Press Ctrl F11 to query the function for Mobile Order Picking

5. Under Form Tab, Edit the value for Parameters Field

6. Enter UI= XXGEN_PICK to associate the user defined Pick Load Page template

7. Press Save Icon or use (Ctrl+S) to save
