THESIS SCRIPT

Good day Panelist! (I’m state your name)

Today we’ll be discussing the study that we did in regards to Online Delivery Tracker.

To express our views in a clearer manner, we created this visual presentation. That will help you
understand what our study is all about. (powerpoint)

CHAPTER I

Intro
The internet has become an essential part of our everyday lives as technology has developed. All
significant purchases are often made online. As a result, the businesses must maintain an on-demand
delivery culture.

Background of the study

By having reliable Online Delivery tracker, you can improve communication between the fleet, the
customer, and the delivery team. In addition, it will guarantee that you can manage your fleet and
parcels effectively that will improve customer experience.

Research Paradigm

This method will serve as our guide for the input, process, and lastly output.
We used Dynamic System Development model for it allows changes and capitalizes on the deeper
understanding and guarantees that the deployed solution satisfies the real business requirement.

Statement of the problem

We as the proponents, aims to know what are the procedures and difficulties involved in existing Online
delivery tracker. Also, to discuss the features of our system.

Objectives of the study

Here’s our Objectives of the study. The goal of our study is to develop a reliable and user-friendly Online
Delivery Tracker. It aims to:

1. To identify the procedures involved in the existing online delivery tracker

2. To illustrate the difficulties encountered in the existing online delivery tracker

3. To enumerate the features to be incorporated in the proposed system

Significance of the study

For the significance of the study, our study will help the user, the proponents, and to the future
researchers to be educative on how the Online Delivery Tracker works. It will also increase the people’s
awareness and could raise the motivation of our researchers to focus more on developing a system.
Scope and Delimitation

This study focuses on constructing and designing a system for the users of online

delivery tracking system.

The proposing application has two side which are; the drivers side to be able to give

information on the users, contact them if the order is being processed, the status update

of orders and when it will be arrived. The user side where they can track the location of

the driver, know their routes, Information of the driver, status update of orders and to

know how much do they need to pay upon delivery.

CHAPTER II

Review of related literature

So here are our review of related literature.

In foreign Literature

We have Delhivery, Zoondia, and Afterahip. These are the Online delivery tracker

based on the other country.

On the otherhand, these are the local online delivery tracker namely Shopee Xpress,

Flash Express and GoGo Xpress.

Synthesis of the Review of Related Literature

The proponents had searched for the foreign and local literature related to the proposed

study based on its similarities to the system. Both foreign and local

literature have a log in and sign up for the account, shipment notification, destination

maps, information of the customer and the rider and the route of the vehicle.
After gathering information, we learned that in local literature, they build an application

wherein they can easily track their parcel by using and logging in to the online tracking

system whereas foreign scholarships are they online have the website system and

managed by the organization that has established the fund.

Research Methodology

This chapter describes the research methodology, which covers the data sources,

specific methodologies employed in the study, data analysis tools, and instruments

used for data collection. The proponents conducted descriptive development study.

System Design

The Dynamic System Development Method (DSDM) was used as a methodology by the

proponents to explain and ensure that the users understood the structure of the

proposed system.

Phase 1: Feasibility and Business Study Phase. During this phase, proponents

agreed to have an interview. Observation will allow future users to discover the

strengths and limits of the proposed system.

Phase 2: Functional Model Iteration Phase. During this step, the proponents decided

on a strategy for drafting and reviewing documents

Phase 3: Design and Build Iteration Phase.

During this time, the proponents built and developed the User Interface (UI).

Phase 4: Implementation Phase.

Finally, at this stage, the proponents implemented log in, sign up, and register for an

account to have access to the system

Source of Data

The primary source of data is the customer of every delivery or order of the person, and

the proponents will obtain system needs from the Client.

Secondary sources of data were collected through internet research and papers,

allowing him to trace each online delivery with a large amount of information.

Instrumentation and data collection

For the instruments, We, the proponents use or prepare questions for respondents to

answer and we used

Internet or Web Research. in which researchers can collect data via the internet.

Observation. Observation, as the name implies, is a way of collecting data through

observing.

Unstructured Interview. An on the spot interview to come up what is in his/her mind.

Tools for data analysis

These are the tools we used for data analysis to make it possible:

Database Schema, Entity- Relationship Diagram (ERD, Entity-Relationship Diagram

(ERD), Gantt chart, Ishikawa Diagram, Likert Scale, Swimlane, Use-Case Diagram, and

Weighted Mean.
