Welcome to Happy Gold!
The Happy Gold Installation File plus the Happy Gold Installation Manual & User’s
Guide have been sent to your e-mail address as a single compressed file attachment.
Save the attachment in a new \Downloads\ Happy Gold folder and extract the files.
Installation and Setup of the Happy Gold MT5 v2.1 robot is very easily accomplished.
Note: All references to earlier versions in the screenshots below are understood to mean the current version.
Robot Installation:
1. Close all MetaTrader Platforms that may be running.
Locate your saved Installation File: Happy Gold MT5 v2.1.exe
Double click on the Happy Gold MT5 v2.1 icon.
2. The Happy Gold Installation Window will open.

3. Click the Browse Button, select the target folder where your MetaTrader5 is
installed under \Program Files, then click the Extract Button.
4. The installation process is very fast. When completed successfully, the
installation window will close without further notice.
5. Repeat the above steps for each instance of MetaTrader on which you wish to
run Happy Gold.

Robot Setup:
Launch your MetaTrader5 Platform.
1. Create a new XAUUSD (GOLD) on Chart and Set it to M15/M30 for Scalp or
on Chart with Set it to 2xH1 and 2xH4 for Swing

2. Use your mouse to drag the Happy Gold robot onto the chart.
3. The Expert Advisor Properties Page will open.
Verify all Common Settings are as shown above.

4. The Expert Advisor Inputs:
pps_TradeComment: The Expert Advisor Name and Version Number
Serial_Number: Locate in email: Serial_Number that we sent as part of your
installation package. We use an expiration date to help secure the robot against piracy.
If you are a legitimate registered user, you will receive a replacement email before the
expiration date, if a new version update is not issued before then. Copy and Paste the
number into the Serial Number field of the Inputs tab as shown above.
ppi_Magic: A unique random Magic Number enables Happy Gold to distinguish its
open trade positions from those that were entered by other robots, or done manually.
Any number is acceptable as long is not the same number used by any other robot
running on this MetaTrader Platform. We recommend you change this number to any
other number to help hide the identity of your robot from your broker-dealer.
FilterSpread: Turn on or off. (Default setting for Scalp = True and for Swing = True)
MaxAverageSpread: Prevents pending orders from opening. (Default setting for Scalp
= 35 and for Swing = 50)
SpreadTooHighDeleteOrderMin: If the value average spreads is high, then pending
orders will be deleted into X minutes. (Default setting for Scalp/Swing = 1)
IntervalMin: of which the average spread is calculated in minutes. (Default setting for
Scalp/Swing = 60)
ppd_Volume: Size of the first open lot.
pi_LotVar: When you set the pi_LotVar at 0 EA will use ppd_Volume.

pd_Risk: The percentage of your account risked per trade based on account.
(Scalp setting: 1% low – 3% medium - 5% high)
(Swing setting: 0.5% low – 1% medium - 2% high)
ppi_SL_Pips: Stop Loss for each individual Order (Default setting for Scalp = 240
and for Swing = H1/200, H1/200, H4/300, H4/400)
ppi_TP_Pips: Take Profit of each individual Order (Default setting for Scalp = 1000
and for Swing = H1/200, H1/600, H4/300, H4/1200)
ShowInfo: Panel info on/off.
DisplayFont: Font size. (Default setting for Scalp/Swing = 15)
TextColor: Font color selection. (Default setting for Scalp/Swing = White)
pb_UseTrailingStop: Turn on or off. (Default setting for Scalp = True and for Swing
= False)
ppi_SL_TrailStartPips: allows you to automatically protect the profits with your
positions. (Default setting for Scalp = 20 and for Swing = 0)
UseVirtualTrailingStop: Turn on or off. (Default setting for Scalp = False and for
Swing = False)
VirtualTrailingStop: The virtual stop loss follows the price at a distance of the
trailing stop length. (Default setting for Scalp = 20 and for Swing = 0)
VirtualTrailingStart: When the virtual stop loss is to be placed. (Default setting for
Scalp = 20 and for Swing = 0)
VirtualTrailingStep: When the virtual stop loss is to be moved. (Default setting for
Scalp = 1 and for Swing = 0)
pb_UseBreakEven: Turn on or off. (Default setting for Scalp = True and for Swing =
True)
ppi_BE_Pips: This refers to the minimum no. of pips in profit that is required prior to
changing the order's stoploss to the order's entry price. (Default setting for Scalp = 10
and for Swing = H1/50, H1/100, H4/150, H4/200)
ppi_BE_ProfitPips: Fix point to move SL to BreakEven. (Default setting for Scalp =
0.1 and for Swing = 1)
ppd_DistancePips: Distance from the indicator where placed pending trade.
(Default setting = 0)

AutoGMT: Auto GMT setting according to your broker.

In order for the "AutoGMT" Feature to function, you should check box “Allow
WebRequest” and add “http://clientsection.16mb.com/downloads/gmt.php” into
your WebRequest URL list.
To do so, Go to Tools/Option/Expert Advisor
Check the box “Allow WebRequest for listed URL:
Add the following: http://clientsection.16mb.com/downloads/gmt.php click ok.
GMTOffset: manual setting GMT according to your broker.

Launch of Happy Gold robot:
Once all Inputs have been set, click OK to close the properties Page.
Insure the AutoTrading Button is depressed; the Green Play Arrow is now seen.
When all is correct the icon will appear in the upper right corner of the chart. A
the icon indicates there is an error.

If the serial number is incorrect, you will see “INVALID KEY!”. The robot will not trade
until a valid, unexpired Serial Number is correctly entered. See above discussion at
#6 for Serial Number information.

Happy Gold is licensed for your personal use only. Each and every user copy has
security features hard coded into the Happy Gold system. As a licensed user you may

made on your behalf by the EA while operating on your systems. You shall not hold
Happy Forex or any of its employees or affiliates liable for said investment decisions.
The Staff cannot advise or otherwise comment concerning the nature, risk, or suitability
of any particular investment, trade, or transaction; or upon the EA’s underlying
investment strategy.
You also recognize that Happy Forex does not provide legal or tax advice.
The Happy Forex shall not be held liable for any damages or losses resulting from the
use of this EA, including but not limited to any trading loss of profit, which may arise
