1.Introduction
This system is intended to make the journal handling on a hospital more eIIicient and secure. The main objective is to ensure the patients` saIety and integrity. The electronic journals are intended to accompany the patient Irom the Iirst visit to the hospital through initial checkup, test taking, treatment or operation and, iI necessary, rehabilitation.
1.1Overview of the Health R` Us System
This system is mainly designed Ior hospitals to ensure the patients` inIormation more reliable, saIety and integrity. This system contains centralised servers which contains journal data, these centralised servers in the hospital which are located in diIIerent locations and handled by diIIerent clients like thin clients( users ),thick clients( doctors, administrators),multimedia acquisition devices, PDA. These users connect to the servers through LAN and PDA users are connected through wireless network. This is a distributed system as it connects to other hospitals and health care institutions through internet. Other hospitals and health care institutions can access and share the journals. These PCs, devices and servers are connected to UPS.
1.1 Assumptions
1. This system is developed Ior the patients and Doctors Ior easy appointment, treatment and all the reaming details oI the patients and journals about the despises
2. The system is assumed to implement in hospitals with a centralized servers.
3. The system is protected with authentication, that no outer enters into the server data.
4.All the systems in the hospital including the Doctor and client systems are connected to the Servers.
5. Every client will have their respective Id to login to the system and check Ior the journals.
6. II any oI the journal is updated by the Doctor or Patient, that is been automatically published in server and others can watch it in seconds.
7. There is a backup and recovery mechanism to handle power Iailure, correpted database and malIunctioning server.
8. There is existing system such as Picture Archive & Communication System (PACS)1 in the hospital that stores multimedia medical data such as MRI, X-ray, etc.
9. There is web oI trust among hospitals such that a user authenticated and authorized in one hospital is also authenticated and authorized in another hospital in the same way.

2. Global Analysis
The purpose oI global analysis is to identiIy the important Iactors that aIIecting the architecture oI the system. An analysis oI system`s Ilexibility and changeability is made to construct the system. AIter analysis the system architecture is built. Here the Factors which aIIecting the Health R` Us system is discussed. Health R` Us system is divided in to Remote clients (RC) and Centralised server (CS).The Remote clients requests the server Ior the journal inIormation. The Factors are classiIied based on the system. Here the Health R Us system consists oI two parts Remote Clients (RC) and Centralised Server (CS).So, the Product Iactors and Technological Iactors are discussed Ior Health R` Us system based on the system parts speciIication.
Steps that Iollowed to analyse the Iactors
1) IdentiIy and describe the Iactors
2) Characterize their Flexibility and changeability
