General Description of the Participants: During the school-based training of teachers under the MATATAG curriculum
implementation, the participants are Real district 85 public elementary school teachers representing 17 schools within the
district. They bring a diverse range of experiences, teaching backgrounds, and expertise to the training sessions.
Objectives:
1. Ensure that teachers gain a comprehensive understanding of the MATATAG curriculum framework, its core principles,
and methodologies to effectively implement it in their classrooms.
2. Provide teachers with opportunities to practice and apply the MATATAG curriculum strategies and approaches in real
classroom settings, fostering hands-on learning experiences.
3. Encourage collaboration among teachers to share best practices, innovative teaching strategies, and lesson plans aligned
with the MATATAG curriculum, fostering a supportive learning community.
4. Establish mechanisms to monitor and evaluate the progress of teachers in implementing the MATATAG curriculum,
providing timely feedback and support to enhance teaching quality and student learning outcomes.

o Participants expressed feeling more prepared and ready to implement the MATATAG curriculum in their classrooms.
They appreciated the insights gained during the training, which enhanced their readiness for the upcoming school
year.
o The MATATAG curriculum topics inspired participants to innovate and explore new ways of teaching. They were
motivated to incorporate innovative strategies that align with the curriculum's goals, aiming to create more engaging
and effective learning experiences for their students.
Participants in the MATATAG Curriculum training expressed overwhelming positivity and readiness for the journey ahead:
●TRAINING VENUE
o The size of the training venue during plenary and break outs is sufficient for the number of participants.
o The training venue's susceptibility to rain has been frustrating; it's disruptive when sessions are frequently
interrupted or relocated due to wet weather, impacting our focus and progress.
o The training venue for each class is excellent, providing a spacious and well-equipped environment that enhances
our learning experience. The facilities are top-notch, and the convenient location makes it easy for everyone to
attend and participate fully in each session.
●ACCOMMODATION –
o The training accommodation during plenary sessions lacks proper ventilation and comfort, making it difficult to
concentrate during sessions.
o The training accommodation for each class is well-equipped and maintained, providing a comfortable and conducive
environment for learning. It's evident that careful consideration has been given to participants’ needs, ensuring they
have everything necessary to focus on their training and make the most of each session.
●RESOURCE SPEAKERS
o All the resource speakers in the MATATAG curriculum training were exceptionally knowledgeable and engaging.
Their expertise not only enriched participants’ understanding but also inspired them to apply new concepts
effectively. Their passion for the subject matter was contagious, making the learning experience both informative
and enjoyable.
o The resource speakers in the MATATAG curriculum training were truly outstanding. Each brought a unique
perspective and depth of knowledge that made the sessions incredibly enriching. Their ability to explain complex
concepts clearly and their dedication to supporting participants’ learning made a significant difference in their
understanding and engagement throughout the training.
o The sessions were both educational and motivating, thanks to the speaker’s expertise and energy.
o The speaker exhibited a high level of responsiveness during the Q&A session, delivering thoughtful and
comprehensive answers to all questions asked. The slides were visually appealing and well-organized. They included
key points and visuals that complemented the verbal presentation effectively.
o The resource speakers prepared their topics very well including anticipating questions and concerns.
