JOB DISCRIPTION OF TEACHER

1. Timings 7:30 a.m. till 2:30 p.m.


2. Biometric and signing the registers are compulsory during in and out.
3. Must come in presentable attire.
4. Participate in school assembly.
5. Be regular, loyal and obedient towards the job assigned by the Coordinator and Principal.
6. Maintain discipline during lessons and break timings in class and corridors.
7. Encourage student’s attendance throughout the year.
8. Timely submission of planners.
9. Maintain classroom furniture and cleanliness. Inform the Section Coordinator immediately if any repair or
support is required or the area is untidy.
10. Displays student’s performance / achievements on soft boards.
11. Maintain classrooms soft boards and white boards on daily basis.
12. Timely copy checking and maintaining remarks according to student’s work.
13. Syllabus completion within the time frame.
14. Perform morning/ break/ afternoon duties according to schedule provided.
15. Maintain attendance registers and along with PTM and other meeting records.
16. Focus on slow learners, behaviour issues and conduct individual meeting and maintain their records.
17. Ensure student’s safety inside and outside the classroom.
18. Perform strong roll while management conduct PTMs for academic excellence and parental satisfaction.
19. Uses humble and decent language with students and colleagues.
20. Meet deadlines.
21. Prepare errorless report cards / result sheet.
22. Maintain the Record of Monthly Star Student of the respective
23. Getting acknowledgements from the coordinators on every note received from the parents.
24. Maintain DAR on daily basis, (Daily attendance record) for respective class/section.

25. Participate actively in school activities.


26. Attend all training programs organized by the management.
27. Ensuring safe custody and optimum use of school material and resource rooms.
28. Must have student’s emergency numbers.
29. Inform the Section Coordinator/Principal for any incident/mishap with any student, immediately.
30. Responsible towards school assets and property.
31. Teachers are not allowed to ask students to bring any stationery items from home
32. Informs Coordinator/HR/ Principal two days prior the leave is required through written signed application
33. No Tuition policy for PIS students, if anyone will be found, on spot termination will occur
34. Staff Hierarchy must be followed strictly.
35. Employees are not allowed to accept any gift in form of cash or things from students, their parents
36. Teachers are not allowed to talk to parents directly except from PTMs.
37. Take care of your hygiene, don’t wear extra accessories or too much makeup.
38. Collection of amounts in the name of stationery, copies, books, notes, drawing material, photostats etc is not allowed.
39. Service rules and policies should be followed, if there will be any change you will be informed timely.
40. Following of all above rules will impact on your ACRs annually
