KEYWORDS

Keywords are words that the child will be listening to

throughout the month of August and September related to
the concept. These words are for the purpose of making the
learning environment print rich and exposing the student to
more vocabulary related to the theme. The ideal way of using
the keywords is to put them on your fridge or just write it on a
whiteboard if you have one. This way the child will connect to
the word as a whole and make sense of the print eventually.
This also helps reading skills of the student as they get
familiar with the letters of the alphabet and how it develops
to form a word.
