Part I Annexure I

Micro-Project Proposal
Title of Micro-project: -

“Dhumal Nursary ”
(1.0) Aim of Micro-project: -
Some of the Benefits of the micro-project are as follows:

• The major purpose of this AJP Project to Give Information about acquiring knowledge about
advance java components.
• This project also gives knowledge about the Application and use of Java in developing
Frontend Systems.
• Give information about the event handling mechanism and exception handling mechanism.
• Give information about data database connection, insertion of records in database etc.
(2.0) Course Outcomes addressed: -
• Develop programs using GUI Framework (AWT and Swing).
• Handle events of AWT and Swing Components.
• Develop programs to handle events in java programming.
• Implement Exception Handling
• Develop programs using Database.
• Develop programs to use the advance components of Java.

(3.0) Proposal Methodology: The steps involved in the

proposed methodology are:

1) Selection and finalization of topic.

In this step we are searching different topics for micro-project,
• Hotel Management System
• Dhumal Nursary
• Quiz Application
• Dairy Shop Management
From this I selected The “Dhumal Nursary” for micro-project also I has taken the approval
from the subject Teacher.

2) Information Gathering:
In this step I am going to search the various information about Nursary to the Nursary. I am
going to visit various websites for this information gathering.
3) Creating Classes and panels by using the swing and AWT package.
In this step we are going to design various Classes and panels to build a source code. Here I am
going to use various Swing and AWT components and various methods of predefined classes. I
am going to handle Events generated by the various components by java Event handling
mechanism.
4) Execution & debugging the source code:
In this step we are going to compile & interpret the code.

5) Connecting Database to the Application.

In this step, I am going to connect the shop inventory Management application with the MS
Access database. I am going to connect the database to the registration form and for adding new
inventory records to the database

6) Preparation of report:
In this step we are going to prepare micro-project report part A and Part B as per given
guidelines.

Micro-Project Report

Title of micro-project:

“Dhumal Nursary”

1.0 Rationale:
A Nursery Management System is a software solution designed to streamline and improve the
management of nurseries, preschools, or childcare centers. The rationale for such a system
includes several key benefits:

1. Efficient Administration: It helps in managing administrative tasks like student enrollment,

attendance tracking, and fee collection more efficiently. This reduces paperwork, human error,
and administrative burden.

2. Parent Communication: Nursery management systems often include features for

communication with parents, providing updates on their child's progress, events, and
announcements. This enhances parent-teacher communication.

3. Attendance and Security: The system can track student attendance, ensuring that children are
safe and accounted for at all times. It also offers enhanced security measures to prevent
unauthorized access.

2.0Aims /Benefits of the micro-project:

Some of the Benefits of the micro-project are as follows:

• This system is to allow better viewing of information.
• Administrator has the full authorization of the system.
• Management will no longer need to go through papers of work and documentation which is
time consuming.
• Viewers will have an easy accessibility to all information of the dance academies. All
information will be easily found from the internet..
3.0 Course outcomes related micro-project:
• Develop programs using GUI Framework (AWT and Swing).
• Handle events of AWT and Swing Components.
• Develop programs to handle events in java programming.
• Implement Exception Handling
• Develop programs using Database. • Develop programs to use the advance components
of Java.
4.0 Literature review:

Java provides us the facility to create our own exceptions which are basically derived
classes of Exception. Creating our own Exception is known as a custom exception or user-
defined exception. Basically, Java custom exceptions are used to customize the exception
according to user needs.
Management will no longer need to go through papers of work and documentation which is
time consuming. Viewers will have an easy accessibility to all information of the dance
academies. All information will be easily found from the internet.

4.0 Actual methodology followed-

The steps involved in the actual methodology are:

From this I have selected The dance academy application for micro-project also I have taken the
approval from the subject Teacher.

9.0 Application of Project:

Sports equipment inventory software makes it easy to manage and keep track of sports
equipment from acquisition to retirement. The inventory management software reduces the risk
of loss or misplacement by providing real-time visibility of the inventory and status of each
object. Equipment inventory management is important in order to know what equipment you
have, where are they located, and it makes your organization more productive.
