    Public Notice for recruitment of Assistant Engineer/OT in PSPCL based on
    GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) 2024 marks
    Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd. (PSPCL) is a Punjab Govt. owned company responsible
    for power generation and distribution in the state of Punjab.
    The recruitment of AE/OT (Electrical) in disciplines of Mechanical Engineering, Electronics
    & Communications Engineering and AM/IT Systems on the basis of GA TE-2023 marks is
    under process in PSPCL.
    Further, PSPCL also intends to recruit AE/OT (Electrical) in disciplines of
    Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engg., Mechanical Engg. and Electronics &
    Communications Engg. based on GATE-2024 marks for the year 2024-25.
    Candidates are intimated that if they are interested in joining PSPCL as AE/OT (Electrical)
    in above said disciplines then they must appear for GA TE 2024 exam for respective
    disciplines. Candidates must possess academic qualification and knowledge of Punjabi as per
    Table below.

    NOTE: It is pertinent to mention that only GATE 2024 qualified candidates will be
    eligible for this recruitment process in PSPCL.

    this regard issued from time to time by Punjab Government shall be
    applicable.

    Closing Date for online registration (without late fee) 05 October 2023
    Extended Closing Date for online registration (with
    late fee) 13 October 2023

    The various tenns & conditions of Punjab Govt./PSPCL including the following shall be
    applicable:

    (i) Age Limit/Reservation:


    Criteria for age limit/reservation will be as per latest instructions of Govt. of Punjab.
    Existing age limit is I 8 to 37 years as on 1st January of the respective calendar year
    during which advertisement for recruitment is given and relaxation in upper age limit
    shall be given as per Govt. of Punjab instructions.

    (ii) Eligibility of Students:


    Candidates who have completed/appearing in their final engineering/qualifying degree
    (2023-24 Session) but their result is awaited will be eligible to apply subject to the
    condition that they have qualified GATE 2024 and the candidate must possess the
    requisite qualification upto the last date submission of online applications against the
    advertisement to be published later as per Sf. No. (iii) below.

    (iii) Details of actual posts for recruitment & Registration Process:


    A separate Advertisement will be published on PSPCL website (www.pspcl.in) at a
    later stage indicating the complete details of tenns, conditions, number of posts for
    recruitment in each discipline & the guidelines for registration. It is clarified that
    above said posts/disciplines of AE/OT (Electrical) may or may not be advertised
    for recruitment as the same will depend upon the requirement of PSPCL.
