What I Need to Know

Modals have many uses in daily conversation. It may be just a word that can
not stand alone and needs the help of a main verb, but it can change the meaning of
what you would like to say. One of the uses of modals is in expressing permission.
When we express permission, it may either be to give or to ask for permission.

This module will give you learnings on how to properly use the modals of
permission in different situations and in different purposes.

1. identify modals that express permission;
2. use modals of permission in different situations;
3. express permission using appropriate modals; and
