Young Entrepreneur's Trade Show Booth Contest

Objective: The Trade Show Booth contest aims to showcase the creativity,
innovation, and entrepreneurial skills of Entrepreneurship students by allowing
them to design and present their own booths representing their products, services,
or business ideas.

Mechanics:

1. Registration:
 Interested Class Sections must register for the Trade Show Booth
contest. A registration fee of P250 will be collected. You may approach
Manuel Barete, President of the Young Entrepreneur’s Society, for
inquiries.
 Registration should include details such as Section name, names of
participant-representative, contact information, and a brief
description of the proposed booth concept.

2. Booth Design:
 Participants will be provided with a designated space for their booth.
The dimension of the booth is a standard space of 8 feet by 8 feet.
 Each booth must be designed and decorated by the participants to
reflect their entrepreneurial concept, product, or service.
 Participants are encouraged to be creative and innovative in their
booth design, considering aspects such as visual appeal, branding,
and interactive elements.

3. Booth Setup:
 Participants must set up their booths within the allocated time frame
before the start of the event.
 Booth setup should be completed within the specified time to ensure a
smooth transition to the judging phase.

4. Product/Service Presentation:
 During the event, participants will be given the opportunity to present
their products, services, or business ideas to event attendees.
 Presentations can include demonstrations, samples, prototypes, or
multimedia presentations to showcase the features and benefits of
their offerings.

5. Judging Criteria:
Booths will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
 Creativity and Innovation: Uniqueness and originality of the booth
design and concept.
 Presentation: Effectiveness of the presentation in communicating the
product, service, or business idea.
 Engagement: Ability to engage and interact with event attendees.
 Relevance to Entrepreneurship: Alignment of the booth concept with
principles of entrepreneurship and business viability.
 Overall Impression: Overall appeal, aesthetics, and professionalism of
the booth.

6. Judges:
 A panel of judges consisting of teachers, entrepreneurs, and event
organizers will be responsible for evaluating the booths and selecting
the winners.

7. Prizes:
 Prizes will be awarded to the top booths based on the judges' scores.
 Prizes may include certificates, trophies, or sponsored gifts from event
sponsors.

8. Rules and Regulations:


 Participants must adhere to the event rules and regulations, including
safety guidelines and code of conduct.
 Any form of plagiarism, copyright infringement, or unethical behavior
will result in disqualification.

9. Timeline:
 Registration Deadline: May 29, 2024
 Booth Setup: May 1, 2024, 3-5pm
 Event Date: May 2, 2024
 Judging: 10-11am, 2-3pm
 Announcement of Winners: 4pm

10. Additional Considerations:


 Participants are encouraged to bring any necessary equipment,
materials, or props for their booth setup.
 Electricity, Wi-Fi, and other technical requirements should be
communicated to the event organizers in advance.
