we as a person affect social changes from others. We encounter social changes also in things, social
institutions, population, environment and behaviour of the person, and those changes can affect education
specially now in 21st century

The example is the K-12 Program, we know that other country are too advance in education compared to
Philippines. So K-12 program declared, President Aquino sign this into law to reach our goal in achieving
educational. In education, they changed their curriculum defend to the needs of the students, and the result
of k-12 program are many students are skilled and advance. As a student it is difficult at first because of the

We know that education is the most important, even it is in difficult situation we need to continue and keep
up with social change.

3. How teachers, students, and administrators could contribute in affecting positive social change in the society
especially during pandemic?

In new normal education affect most, the agency of education (DEPED) do some ways to continue the study of
students, the teachers do their role as a teacher, they teach their students even it is synchronous learning and as a
student our responsibility is to attend online classes. We know there’s a lot of way to learn and study even we are in

VI. Self-Reflection: Write a short note in this portion.

1. What new knowledge and/or skill did you learn from the module?

In this module there’s a new knowledge that I encounter specially in social changes where we need to
know. All of us are experiencing this social changes and the education is the most affected. As a future teacher in 21 st
century it is better to become a flexible teacher the same as a robot, because in 21 st century technology are the most
thing that we used, and the students are too advance in this generation. I learned that education need to adapt social
changes quickly, because school also is the home of students where the students can build their skills and knowledge
by the help of the person in their schools.

2. What life value/s did you learn in this module? How did you practice the value/s in this module?

In this module pandemic is involve, and there’s a lot of values that I encounter specially in education
during pandemic. It is hard to adapt new normal in education, we experiences online classes where it is also a
part of social changes. As a student who part of education need to participate and follow what the
administrations wants for education, where they find ways how the students study and learned even we are
in pandemic. And as a student we need to accept this kind of situation, and our administrations also are
having plans to their students to become a successful even we are in hardest situation.
