New Feature Quadrupole MS 5.1 drivers support Thermo Scientific™ SmartStatus™ 1.0 software. SmartStatus software provides
information about the proper functioning of certain Thermo Scientific autosamplers, gas chromatographs (GC),
and mass spectrometers.

Known Issues The known issues are as follows:

#136—When moving between networked instruments, Client-Server configurations can require a connection retry
to view device ePanels.
#249—Show Advanced Autotune Configuration unchecked does not hide Advanced Autotune for GC-MS systems

2
#387—When you run the Station IQ application after installing the Quadrupole MS for GC-LC-IC driver, the
report displays errors. The errors can be located in this directory: C:\Program Files
(x86)\Thermo\Chromeleon\bin\DDK\V1\Drivers\Thermo\ISQEC

Note The errors and recommendations in the Station IQ report are a typical and expected result. Instrument
performance is not affected.

Table 1 contains the file locations and error messages that might appear in the Station IQ report when the
Quadrupole MS for GC-LC-IC driver is installed on systems running Chromeleon 7.2.10 MUa or later,
Chromeleon 7.3.0, or Chromeleon 7.3.1 software.
