1.0 System Requirement


1.1 Checking before installation
Version of Revit and this MEW Check Plugin
must be the same. For example, if Revit is in
2018 version, MEW Check Plugin should also
be 2018 version.
ALWAYS ensure your window is set to
automatic update, otherwise the plugin may
not be able to function properly.

2.0 Setting Up
2.1 Installation
Login as administrator, copy setup.exe to your
computer then double click the file. Follow the
setup wizard and the programme "MEW

Check" will be installed at C:\Program Files


(x86)\MEW Check@Revit release year\
automatically.
2.2 Authorization
Select Update_Revit.exe in C:\Program Files
(x86)\MEW Check@Revit release year\
UpdateRevitPlugin\, right click, and then select
“Run as administrator”. MEW function will be
added to Revit.
Start Revit, confirm to always load MEW
function. Select Add-ins under Contextual tab
and select External Tools under Ribbon to
check if new tools for MEW Check are
installed. To test whether the tool can run
popularly, open any file then refer to user
manual under C:\Program Files (x86)\MEW
Check@Revit release year\ to test if the
function can be run properly. Contact us if it
cannot.
2.3 Uninstall
The current version does not support
uninstallation. If you want to uninstall the tool,
follow the below steps:
 Delete files MEW Check.addin. For
Windows XP, the file is located under
C:\Documents and Settings\All

Users\Application
Data\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\release year\.
For Windows Vista and 7, the file is
located under
C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\r
elease year
 Delete folder C:\Program Files
(x86)\MEW Check@Revit release year\.

This removes the tool from your computer.
