Classroom Observation Report 1

Ur kena

School Name: Govt. School

Class Teacher: Course: Chemistry

Grade 10th No of students : 100

Observer : Time: 30 mint

Reflective Note:

Abstract
The following report will examine all the elements of classroom that I will observe in Miss
Mussarat Class. I will discuss the classroom environment, the school, the student’s participation,
and the teacher’s overall effectiveness. I will then talk about how much the experience had an
impact on my aspiration to teach.

Teacher Observation Report

I chose to go and observe in classroom at Govt. School. The school as whole is rather large and
has around students 1200 and over 34 teachers thus creating a stable student-to-teacher ratio. All
of my observations hours were spent observing Miss Mussarat classroom. After walking into the
classroom, you immediately feel welcome the floor is a doormat full of color. The rug says
welcome and makes you feel just that. Due to COVID19 students are placed at some distance. On
the wall there are a number of pictures encourages learning. There are pictures about chemistry
like periodic table. I also noticed there was a schedule on board showing allocated time for each
subject and calendar with current and previous date flipped over.

Miss Mussarat began explaining topic acid base and salt. she teaches the students, In acid base
chemistry, salt are ionic compounds that result from the neutralization reaction of an acid and a
base. She used group altering by periodically asking the students questions pertaining to the
characters. This made the engaged time with the students last longer since they knew they would
be asked answer. I observed he explaining topic with whiteboard.

At each corner the children worked on word identification. The children who needed the help
more worked While Miss Mussarat was teaching the individuals groups, I noticed how often she
would have to talk time away from his teaching to discipline the other students. After lecture My
mentor gave the homework to class 10th.

I had to pray my mentor Miss Mussarat on this eye thought it was annotative way of teaching the
students good behavior through a reward system. The school environment was very clean and
well maintained. The bathrooms were also spotless. The staff and students alike seem to really
enjoy the school and the environment around them. There is no better place to learn than some
where you are comfortable. After observing 10th class I came back to my home.

Part II: Reflection

I believe that overall, this was a great experience. I honestly could not have been happier with
how well my observations of Miss Mussarat classroom went. I would strongly recommend his to
interested student looking for somewhere to learn the ways of teaching. Not only she was strong
academically, but also you could tell she had an interest passion for making sure each and every
one of his students learned at least something in class every day. Not only was she strong, but
patient as well. Having 100 students running around a room cannot be easy for anyone.

Yet She handled it with grace and poise. I learn in 10th class Chemistry lecture about acid, base
and salt. I picked up so many teaching methods while observing Miss Mussarat I loved how she
had little note cards with each student’s name and would flip from card to card after each
question, giving every student a chance to participate and ensuring participation. She also had a
different student every morning to lead the morning exercise. She later explained that this was to
wake the students up and get their blood going in participation learning. I thought this was a
unique and cleaver way to keep the students active and ready for enthusiasm to teach. I loved the
environment of school.

As I walked down, whether coming or leaving, a number of staff always smiled or said good
morning, and meant it. The students had smiles on their faces and it was clear that they coming to
school every morning. The experience has truly opened my eyes and made me realize that
teaching really is what I would like to do for the rest of my life. To see children, finally have
something click in their heads or smile, when you tell them they answered the question correctly
makes all the hard times worth it. Although I’m sure, it will be a lot of work, I have no doubt in
my mind that molding young minds is the right path for me. All staff of school is cooperative and
my mentor. Miss Mussarat also nice Lady. She nicely deliver his lecture, I learn a lot by her.

Miss Mawara began explaining topic introduction of biology. She teaches the students, about
biology, it is a natural science concerned with the study of life and living organisms. Biology is
important because it helps us understand how living things work and how they function and
interact on multiple levels, according to the Encyclopedia Britannica. Advances in biology have
helped scientists do things such as develop better medicines and treatments for diseases,
understand how a changing environment might affect plants and animals, produce enough food
for a growing human population and predict how eating new food or sticking to an exercise
regimen might affect our bodies. This made the engaged time with the students last longer since
