Zero Dean’s words really struck me. She said, "Not everyone will understand your journey.

That's fine. It's not their journey to make sense of. It's yours."

Ever since I was little, I've loved playing the piano. While other kids played with toys or went
outside to play, I felt the happiest sitting in front of the piano, pressing down on the keys
gently. The piano was like my best friend— It's my way of expressing myself and letting out
all my thoughts and feelings. But not everyone understood why I wanted to spend so much
time playing the piano instead of doing other things. My parents thought I should focus
more on studying or follow a different path, a career path like a doctor or lawyer.

However, I knew deep down that piano was what I wanted to do. So, I kept at it, even when
people doubted me or didn't understand. I played hours of piano, practiced playing the
piano every chance I got, and tried different genres of pieces to see what felt right for me.
Along the way, I faced challenges and setbacks. Sometimes, things didn't go the way I hoped,
and I felt like giving up. Once when it was almost my piano exam, I always got stuck on a
part. I was very difficult an annoying which almost made me gave up. But I didn't. I kept
going, learning from my mistakes, and getting better with each try.

Now, when I look back on my journey, I realize that the most important part wasn't reaching
a certain goal—it was the journey itself. even though not everyone understood why I did
what I did, I learned to trust myself and follow my heart. The journey was not without its
challenges. There were moments of frustration and self-doubt, times when the music
refused to flow as effortlessly as I desired. In those dark moments, it would have been easy
to succumb to defeat, to abandon my dreams in favour of a less arduous path.

As the years passed, my relationship with the piano deepened, evolving from a hobby into
my job. I explored a majority of musical genres, each having its own unique challenges and
rewards.
