USER’S GUIDE

Logging In
Sending a V-Brochure to your Customers
Placing an order (what your customers
experience)
Accepting or Rejecting the order
1. Go to your web browser
2. Type in www.avon.co.za and press enter
3. You will then be taken to the Avon website that should look something like this:

4. You now need to log in to your account


5. Click on “Log in to your Avon Account”
6. Type in your account number and password, and click LOG IN
7. If NOT registered yet, click on “Not registered yet?” and follow the steps.
1. Click on “My Orders”
2. Click on “Send E-Brochure”

3. Click on “SEND THE EBROCHURE EMAIL NOW…”


4. Select your customer by clicking in the box next to their name
5. You can type up a message in the message box to your customer

6. Check the box to accept the Terms and Conditions.


7. Click on “Send Email”
8. Click on “YES” to send email

9. Click on “OK”

Your V-Brochure has now been sent to your Customer/s


Once your customer has placed her order
1. You will receive an order with an order number via email:

2. Log into your Avon Account


3. Go to “my order”, click on “place an order”

4. You will then see your Pending Orders - Here you can :

View the order by clicking on the order number – (see special notices regarding the
order highlighted for you e.g.)

You will need to change the order depending on what the message advises you e.g. put
in the correct product number prior to accepting the order.
Accept the order by clicking in the Accept Order circle
Or REJECT the order by clicking on “REJECT” (if you suspect fraudulent activity, or if the
order falls outside of your area. Call Centre will then receive the details of this order)

1. Do not forget to click on “Update Order” once you have decided to either Accept or Reject
the order. This will now be added to your order and will be submitted with your order.
2. Once you have accepted or rejected the Order – click on the “Continue” button.
3. Follow the process for placing and submitting your order once you have checked all your
pending orders and have placed your own personal order.
IMPORTANT: PENDING ORDERS NOT ATTENDED TO WILL BE REALLOCATED
AFTER 48 HOURS.
Your customer will receive an email once you have accepted their
order.
Rejecting the Order:
1. After selecting REJECT – you will be given the option of selecting a reason for deletion of
the order
2. Select the appropriate option.
3. Click on “continue”

4. You will then get a pop up that will as you if you are sure you want to reject the order –
select “OK” (Or cancel if need be)

Your customer will then receive an email advising them that their order has been referred
to the Call Centre.
What your Customer sees and experiences
1. Your customer will receive an email
2. When she/he opens up the email this is what will display :

3. Click on “View the Avon eBrochure”


Using the e-brochure to Order
1. You will then be taken to the Avon website where you will see the brochure
2. Click ON the brochure itself that you see on the screen
3. Click on the corners to turn the page

4. Or you can select what pages you would like to see at the top bar by clicking on the
numbers
5. Click on the item (or on page) you want to order

6. A pop up screen will come up


7. Insert number of that item you would like to order
8. Check the terms and Conditions box
9. Click on “Add to shopping Bag”

10.After browsing the brochure and choosing your products you can view what you have
selected- click on “View Shopping Bag”
1. A pop up page will come up where you can see the items you have ordered, and edit if
you need to
2. If happy with your order – check to accept the terms and conditions
3. Click on “Send Shopping Bag”

4. Click on “Yes”
Finally!
1. Verify your email address
2. Check and accept terms and conditions
3. Click “Go”

4. Click “OK”
Confirmation Email
Your customer will then receive an email from you advising her that her order
has been submitted.

Once you (as her representative) have checked and accepted/rejected her order
she will then receive an email advising her that her shopping bag has been
accepted (or if it has been rejected)
Top Bar Functions

Here you can:


1. You can click on your Representative’s email address at the top to send her an email
2. Click on “FIND A REPRESENTATIVE” to Find a Representative
3. Click on “BECOME A REPRESENTATIVE” If you would like to sell Avon
4. You can click on “Other Brochure” to see our other brochures
5. You can click on the “Help” Button if you need assistance
6. Click on the “ON” or “OFF” buttons if you would like to listen to music while browsing the
brochure
7. You can type in the Search box and click on the arrow to search for something specific
8. You can Click on “Categories” to choose a category of products you would like to jump to in
the brochure e.g. SKINCARE
9. You can view smaller pictures by clicking on “Thumbnail View”
10.You can Bookmark the Avon brochure by clicking on “Bookmark” so you will find it quicker
on your internet browser
11. You can zoom in and out by clicking on the “Zoom” button
12.You can also Print what you are seeing by clicking on the “Print” button
The TABs

1. Click on “our products”


2. Click on “OUR PRODUCT RANGE” – to see the Avon Product Range
3. If you would like some Beauty Advise – Click on “Beauty Advisor”
4. If you have Questions and need answers – Click on “Questions and answers”
1. Click on “current offers” to see what is on special this campaign
2. And you can also click on “Click here” to view the online brochure (V-Brochure)
3. You can also click on “Want to earn extra cash?” if you want to become an Avon
Representative
4. You can click on “Need a Representative” if you need to order and don’t have a
representative
5. And you can click on “Avon Voices” if you would like to be a part of Avon’s first ever online
Talent Search
Click on “about us” - If you would like to know more about our company, our Breast Cancer
initiative– iThemba Crusade of Hope and our Campaign against Domestic Violence

Click on “opportunities” if you would like to join as a Representative or if you would like to
view any current vacancies

If you are not sure how to go about Buying from Avon – click on “how to buy” – here you can
click on “Contact Information” to get our contact details, “Beauty Centre” to find one of our
Beauty Centre’s, or on “Need a Representative” to find one closest to you that can contact
you.
