Play a short Video about Plant.
“Parts of Plants”
Root- The root hold the plant to the
ground. They absorb water and minerals in
the soil and bring them up to the stem and
leaves.
Stem- Supports the whole plant and it must
be able to stand the natural forces such as
strong winds. And serve as passageway of Picture that show in the class
water and minerals from the roots to the
other parts of the plant.
Leaves- Make the food for the plant. And it
is the most important part of the plant.
Without green leaves, a plant con not make
food for its growth.
Flowers- Are the most attractive part of a
plant. They different color’s and odors. The
flower help the plant to make seeds.
Fruit- Hold the seed of the plant. Some
fruits are big while others are small. Fruit
have different shape too. They differ in
colors, smell and taste. Some are sweet
while others our sour.
