communication is very easy now between the visitor and administrator.

1.3 Definitions, Acronyms, and Abbreviations:-

 HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language):- It is used to create static web pages.

 HTTP (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol):- It is a transaction oriented client/server

protocol between a web browser and a web server.
 CSS(Cascading Stylesheet):- It is used to control the style and layout of multiple
Web pages.

 Java Script:- JavaScript is a Scripting Language,JavaScript is programming code

that can be inserted into HTML pages,JavaScript code can be executed by all
modern web browsers.

 Web 2.0:- It is commonly associated with web applications which facilitate

interactive information sharing, interoperability, user-centered design and
collaboration on the World Wide Web.

 Apache:- Apache is a freely available Web Server that is distributed under an

"open source" license.

 Xampp:- XAMPP is a free and open source cross-platform web server solution
stack package, consisting mainly of the Apache HTTP Server, MySQL database,
and interpreters for scripts written in the PHP and Perl programming languages

 Php(Hypertext Preprocessor):- Hypertext Preprocessor) is a scripting language

that helps make webpages more interactive by allowing them to do more things.

 Mysql:- MySQL is a database system used on the web ,It is a database system that
runs on a server,It is ideal for both small and large applications and It is very fast,
reliable, and easy to use.

Administrator will give feedback of all the enquiries through mail.

2.2 Software Interface:-

- Front End Client: - Php

PHP is a server scripting language, and is a powerful tool for making dynamic
and interactive Web pages quickly. Originally created by Rasmus Lerdorf in 1995 While
PHP originally stood for Personal Home Page, it now stands for PHP: Hypertext
Preprocessor, PHP is free software released under the PHP License. PHP can be deployed
on most web servers and also as a standalone shell on almost every operating system and
platform, free of charge.

Web Server: - Apache

The Apache HTTP Server commonly referred to as Apache, is a web server

application notable for playing a key role in the initial growth of the World Wide Web.
Apache is developed and maintained by an open community of developers under the
auspices of the Apache Software Foundation. Often referred to as simply Apache, a public-
domain open source Web server developed by a loosely-knit group of programmers. The
first version of Apache, based on the NCSA http Web server, was developed in 1995.
Data Base Server:- Mysql offline server

Back End:- Mysql

MySQL is a open-source relational database management system (RDBMS)

MySQL is the most popular database system used with PHP. MySQL is a database
system used on the web.It is a database system that runs on a server. It is ideal for both
small and large applications. It is very fast, reliable, and easy to use.It supports standard
SQL.It compiles on a number of platforms.

2.3 Hardware Interface:-

Client Side:-

RAM - 512MB

Hard Disk - 20 GB

Key Board - Standard Windows Keyboard

Mouse - Two or Three Button Mouse

Monitor - LCD(Liquid Crystal Display)

Server Side:-

RAM - 1GB

Database - MySQL

Webserver - Apache
2.4 Product Functions:-

The visitor can easily fill the enquiry form and submit the enquiry. And, admin can
view & reply those enquiries. Toll Tax Manager can upload details on site and admin can
view that data.

1.Admin module

2.Toll Tax Manager module

1. Admin module:-

The administrator will get all the enquiries which has been submitted by the visitors on
website. Also, admin can reply those queries with the solution. Also, the admin can view
that data uploaded by the manager.

2. Toll Tax Manager module:-

The manager can upload details on site.

2.5 User Characteristics:- This project has mainly two users that are Admin and toll tax
manager.

1. Manager-
The manager can upload details on site.

2.Administrator:-

The admin can view and reply the individual queries and data uploaded by the
manager.

. 2.6 Architecture Design:-

Any real world system is used by different users. The users can be developers,
testers, business people, analysts and many more. So before designing a system the
architecture is made with different perspectives in mind. The most important part is to
visualize the system from different viewer’s perspective. The better we understand the
better we make the system.
2.7 Use Case Diagram :-

Use case diagrams are used to gather the requirements of a system including internal and
external influences. These requirements are mostly design requirements. So when a system
is analyzed to gather its functionalities use cases are prepared and actors are identified.

Now when the initial task is complete use case diagrams are modeled to present the
outside view. The purposes of use case diagrams can be as follows:-

 Used to gather requirements of a system.

 Used to get an outside view of a system.

 Identify external and internal factors influencing the system.

 Show the interacting among the requirements are actors.

2.8 Database Design:-

Database design is the process of producing a detailed data model of a database. This
logical data model contains all the needed logical and physical design choices and
physical storage parameters needed to generate a design in a Data Definition Language,
which can then be used to create a database. A fully attributed data model contains
detailed attributes for each entity.

The term database design can be used to describe many different parts of the
design of an overall database system. Principally, and most correctly, it can be thought of
as the logical design of the base data structures used to store the data.

Field Name Data Type

Id Number
Name Varchar
Mobile Number
Address Varchar
Enquiry Varchar

2.9 ER Diagram:-

An entity-relationship diagram is a data modeling technique that creates a graphical

representation of the entities, and the relationships between entities, within an information
system.

The entity is a person, object, place or event for which data is collected. The
relationship is the interaction between the entities. The cardinality defines the relationship
between the entities in terms of numbers. The relationship is the interaction between the
entities

The steps involved in creating an ERD are:

 Identify the entities.

 Determine all significant interactions.
 Analyze the nature of the interactions.
 Draw the ERD.
