Rainy Days
It rained all day on Saturday. Russ wanted to go outside and play. When
Russ woke up on Sunday, it was still raining. Russ was bored. He called
to his Mum, “Can I go and play outside?” Mum said, “Russ, it is too wet.
You will have to stay inside again.” Russ stared out the window. Mum felt
bad that Russ would not get to play all weekend. Mum got their gumboots
and raincoats. “Russ, let’s go and play!” Mum said. Russ and Mum played

My Annoying Little Sister

On the Bus
We have to sit in set seats on the bus now because

Big Billy and Little Billy
Billy is my year six buddy. But I am Billy too!

The Singing Cat
There once was a cat who loved to sing. La, haooo,

Frankie Finds a Friend
Frankie loved to play. He would play all day long.
His favourite game was fetch, but he didn’t like to

would chase the ball and then take it far away and

Looking For Treasure
On the weekend, Boaz went to the river to look for

As they got closer, he looked out the window. He saw some big plastic

Boaz put his head down. He looked down the river and saw something
shiny. He ran over to see what it was. It was some treasure! A fishing
lure, and almost brand new!
“Look what I found!” he called as he ran back, “treasure!”

High on the hill was one little patch of grass. This

All the animals would look up at the green, green grass,

Cows tried to climb up to get some to eat for their lunch.
Kangaroos tried to jump there to eat some for their dinner. But they couldn’t
get there.

The Little Ant Who Danced
There was a little ant who lived in a nest. Ants are

started to move, he started to groove and he started to shake. All the other
