IMPLANT TRAINING REPORT
ABSTRACT
Industrial training is one of the requirements to impart technical education at diploma level
in computer engineering as per MSBTE. As such, the students are required to write and submit
reports at the end of their training.
This report includes the engineering experiences, professional based practices and both
TECHNICAL and NON-TECHNICAL knowledge and skilled development gained by our group
during industrial training at Inside Computers , Pune for 6 weeks from 06 June 2024 to 14 July
2024.
It includes the organizational structure, equipment used, safety procedures, practical activities,
special experiences, and recommendations. The main project was assembling a PC.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
IMPLANT TRAINING REPORT
I would like to express my gratitude to one and all who contributed me to success in the
industrial training programme who helped me in various ways technical, management and all sort
of guidance given to improve my professional and technical knowledge.
First, I would like to thank Mr. Jaykumar Ostwal of ‘Inside Computers’ allowed us for
training experience.
I would like to express my deep sense of gratitude to our esteemed Principal Mrs. V. S.
Byakod for her encouragement.
At last but not the least I would like to thank everyone who has made my training
experience a pleasant and enjoyable one and helping me to overcome the challenges I faced
during training.

the course of its journey, this business has established a firm foothold in its industry. The belief
that customer satisfaction is as important as their products and services, have helped this
establishment garner a vast base of customers, which continues to grow by the day.
VISION:
MISSION:
1. To offer reliable and efficient computer repair services and high-quality hardware products.
⮚ Refurbished Tonner
⮚ LED/LCD Screen
⮚ UPS
Computer hardware includes the physical parts of a computer, such as the case, central
processing unit (CPU), monitor, mouse, keyboard, computer data storage, graphics card,
sound card, speakers and motherboard.
Computer is Required to do basic works of addressing customers’ requirements, Bills,
Invoices, Excel Sheets etc.
3.2 Tools:
Various hardware tools like:
• Microsoft Word & Excel : For stock updates, Payment in-out,Expense etc.
2) The Main Supply of computers where all connection are done is maintaned time to time.
If connection get loosed it may get Short curcuits. Power cables may get damaged, In
monsoon electricity cuttoff is normal so, we insis customers to “UPS” or inverters as it
provides a backup for computers and helps to save unsaved work in the case of power-cut.
3) Near Computers there must be a proper ventilation available. If no way is present for air
to go Heating issues may be observed in your computer. This leads to slow of of
computer,cpu hangs etc.
overall benefit of the organization. By incorporating safety measures at various levels, the
awareness on safety will improve. It is possible to prevent accidents.
● Diagnosis: Use antivirus software to scan the system and identify malicious software.
● Removal: Follow the antivirus software's guidelines to quarantine and remove the
detected viruses. Sometimes, manual removal is necessary using safe mode and
specialized tools.
● Prevention: Educate customers on safe browsing habits, installing reliable antivirus
software, and keeping it updated.
● Preparation: Back up existing data, if possible, and ensure all necessary drivers and
installation media are available.
● Installation Process: Format the drive, create partitions if necessary, and proceed with the
OS installation. Install essential drivers and updates after the OS installation.
● Post-Installation: Customize settings according to user preferences, install necessary
software, and perform a system check to ensure everything is functioning correctly.
●
Hardware Issues
Replacing Faulty Components:
o Power Supply Unit (PSU): Ensure the new PSU has the correct wattage and
connector types. Disconnect the old PSU and carefully install the new one.
o Hard Drive/SSD: Backup data from the faulty drive, replace it with a new one,
and restore the data.
o RAM: Identify faulty RAM sticks, remove them, and install new ones. Ensure the
RAM is seated correctly and compatible with the motherboard.
o Graphics Card (GPU): Remove the old GPU, clean the slot, and install the new
one. Update drivers if necessary.
● Understanding Needs: Ask customers about their requirements, such as gaming, office
work, or graphic design, to recommend suitable products.
● Explaining Features: Provide detailed information on the features and benefits of
different products, helping customers make informed decisions.
● Budget Considerations: Offer options that fit the customer's budget while meeting their
performance needs.
Technical Support
Providing Solutions to Customer Queries:
Assembling a PC
Assembling a PC was a significant part of my internship, providing hands-on experience with
various components and systems.
Components Selection
Choosing Compatible Parts:
● Motherboard: Ensure it supports the chosen CPU, RAM, and has sufficient slots for
expansion.
● Processor (CPU): Match the CPU socket type with the motherboard and consider
performance needs.
● Memory (RAM): Choose the correct type (DDR3, DDR4, etc.) and capacity. Ensure
compatibility with the motherboard.
● Storage: Decide between HDD and SSD based on performance requirements. Consider
capacity and speed.
● Power Supply Unit (PSU): Ensure it provides enough power for all components and has
the necessary connectors.
● Graphics Card (GPU): Choose based on performance needs and ensure compatibility
with the PSU and motherboard.
● Case and Cooling: Select a case that fits all components and provides adequate cooling
solutions, including fans and heatsinks.

Assembly Process
Step-by-Step Building:
1. Preparation: Gather all components and tools. Work on an antistatic mat and wear an
antistatic wrist strap.
2. Install CPU: Place the CPU into the motherboard socket, secure it, and apply thermal
paste. Install the CPU cooler.
3. Install RAM: Insert RAM sticks into the motherboard slots, ensuring they click into
place.
4. Mount Motherboard: Place the motherboard into the case, align it with standoff screws,
and secure it.
5. Install Storage: Mount HDDs or SSDs in their designated bays and connect them to the
motherboard using SATA cables.
6. Install PSU: Secure the PSU in the case and connect power cables to the motherboard,
CPU, and other components.
7. Install GPU: Insert the GPU into the PCIe slot and secure it with screws. Connect
necessary power cables.
