Chapter 4: Safety Procedures Followed and Safety

Gear Used

4.1 Schedule and Procedure Of Maintenance:

1) Removal of dust from the Computers, and other components is must. If not done so, then
the components may get Damaged. Cleaning of computers is important as dust and other
particles get damaged to the components. As a result we use Blowers,Vaccum
Cleaner,Heatsink paste, various solutions for cleaning components of computers.

2) The Main Supply of computers where all connection are done is maintaned time to time.
If connection get loosed it may get Short curcuits. Power cables may get damaged, In
monsoon electricity cuttoff is normal so, we insis customers to “UPS” or inverters as it
provides a backup for computers and helps to save unsaved work in the case of power-cut.

3) Near Computers there must be a proper ventilation available. If no way is present for air
to go Heating issues may be observed in your computer. This leads to slow of of
computer,cpu hangs etc.

4) Use of Authenticated products: if use of compatibale or dupllicate products or

components then computer may get several issues. Always use Orignal components for
smooth operation of Computers.

5) Use of Antivirus: A computer using internet is highly recommended to anitvirus.

Downloading things from internet may attract viruses to computers . As a prevention and
safety from viruses use of Antivirus is important. Various Antiviruses avalilable market help
to make your Computer for smooth operation without any issues. Antiviruses blocks virus
and prevent files and folders fro getting corrupted.(Net Protector ,Quick Heal, Avast,
Vibranium etc).

Industry
IMPLANT TRAINING REPORT

5.1 Common Repairs

During my internship, I encountered a variety of common repair tasks, both software and
hardware-related.
Software Issues
Virus Removal:

● Diagnosis: Use antivirus software to scan the system and identify malicious software.
● Removal: Follow the antivirus software's guidelines to quarantine and remove the
detected viruses. Sometimes, manual removal is necessary using safe mode and
specialized tools.
● Prevention: Educate customers on safe browsing habits, installing reliable antivirus
software, and keeping it updated.

Operating System (OS) Installation:

● Preparation: Back up existing data, if possible, and ensure all necessary drivers and
installation media are available.
● Installation Process: Format the drive, create partitions if necessary, and proceed with the
OS installation. Install essential drivers and updates after the OS installation.
● Post-Installation: Customize settings according to user preferences, install necessary
software, and perform a system check to ensure everything is functioning correctly.

Hardware Issues
Replacing Faulty Components:

● Diagnosis: Identify faulty components through symptoms,

such as system crashes, no power, or beeping sounds. Use
diagnostic tools like POST cards or hardware testing
software.
● Replacement Process:
