- Restarting the antenna unit enable you to restore the symptom.
Note: Even if the display unit is restarted, the antenna unit is not restarted.
Therefore, the power supply side to the junction box must be restarted.
- If the symptom is not restored after the antenna unit is restarted, the T-connector ⑦
may cause connection failures. If the connector of the pigtail cable is damaged,
replace the pigtail cable (MJ-A10SPF0016-010C) with the cable assembly MF

Chapter 1. Overview
Chapter 1 Overview
GS-100 (Satellite Speed Log), with a high-resolution 5.7-inch color LCD, can display
various navigation data. The vessel speed accuracy is 0.02 knot (5 satellites or more).
The built-in satellite compass allows for displaying the right- and left-side vessel speeds
at any place on the vessel. The equipment can be connected with an optional 8.4-inch
color LCD (DS-600) to help berthing.
1.1 Configuration
Basically, the equipment is composed of GS-1001 (antenna unit), GS-1002 (display
unit), and GS-1003 (junction box).

Power supply
The front stage of primary power block is provided
with reverse connection/EMC protection filters and
undervoltage/overtolgage protection circuits.
In the primary power block, voltage is reduced from

9–38 VDC to 5.8 VDC.
Then, the 5.8 VDC voltage is reduced to 3.3 VDC,
and the 3.3 VDC voltage is reduced to 1.8 VDC, to
11
use the power for the digital. Also, a voltage of 5.8
VDC is reduced to 5.0 VDC and 5.2 VDC, so that the
power can be used for the sensors, GPS cores, and
antennas.

You cannot update the software of the antenna unit on site.
Q2. Is there any work required before or after software update? Chapter 4
There is no work required.
The setting values remain the same after the software update.
