Loftside Lake
Open Water Swimming
Loftside Lake measures two metres deep. The average lake temperature
can reach 26 degrees in July and August. The main swim season
starts in May and ends in early October. Late season swims are only
recommended for swimmers with experience.
Cost
• Swim membership is £30 for the season.
• Non members pay £4 per swim.
Facilities
There are showers, toilets and changing rooms. Please bring your
own towels. The cafe is open for takeaway food and drink and there is
undercover seating available outside.
Safety rules
• All swimmers must wear brightly coloured swim caps.
• Swimmers must keep to the course provided.
