A shopkeeper bought an article with market price 1200 from


the wholesaler at a discount of 10%. The shopkeeper sells this
article to the customer on the market price printed on it. If the rate
of GST is 6%, then find:
(i) GST paid by the wholesaler.
(ii) Amount paid by the customer to buy the item.

Q. 3. The cost of some financial services are given below, in the
same city:
Cost of services: 800, 600, 700, 900. If the rate of GST is 12%, find
the amount of GST on above services.
Q.4. A manufacturer in a firm manufactures a machine and marks
it at 80,000. He sells the machine to a wholesaler (in Gorakhpur) at
a discount of 20%. The wholesaler sells the machine to a dealer
(in Mathura) at a discount of 15% on the marked price. If the rate
of GST 28%, find tax paid by the wholesaler to central
Government.
Q. 5. Let Amar, Ram and Rahim be three dealers belonging to
difference states. Dealer Amar sells some products/services to
dealer Ram for ₹1000 and dealer Ram sells the same
products/services to dealer Rahim at a profit of 300. Calculate the
tax liability of Ram, if the rate of GST is 12%.
Q. 6. Salman deposits 1200 every month in a a recurring deposit
account for 2½ years. If the rate of interest is 6% per annum, find
the amount he will receive on maturity.

interest at the time of maturity. Find the amount Rekha deposited
each month.

recurring deposit account of a bank. If the rate of interest is of 8%
per annum and Mr. Britto gets 8,088 from the bank after 3 years,
find the value of his monthly instalment.

deposited 2,500 per month for 2 years. At the time of maturity, he
