Java Installation

Step-I
Check version

Click on windows symbol &

search—cmd Java –version &

Press enter

Step-II
1) Use this URL

https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/downloads/#java11-windows
Scroll down & Select Java 11
2) For Windows: Select windows & click on .exe file

3) Select checkbox & click on download

Create ORACLE Account & download .exe file


ORACLE account---→Provide details and verify your email ID & download .exe file
Double Click on downloaded .exe file and click on next

Click on next
Click on close
Step-III

Set java path:

Copy java path:

Open C drive---->program files---->java---->jdk/jre(jdk prefered) >bin folder(open bin


folder) - >copy bin folder path

Set java path into user variable:

Right click on This Pc/my computer-->properties-->advanced system setting--


>environment variable-->user variable--> check for "path"
variable(present/absent)

Right click on This Pc/my computer-->properties

Select advanced system setting


Click on environment variable

See User variable & check "path" variable (present/absent)


Only For Windows 7:
Case1: already path variable exist ---->Click on path variable---->Click on edit > enter
variable name i.e.” path” & enter variable value i.e ctrl+ V(Paste (Copied path of
bin folder) --> ok—ok
Only For windows 8/10
Case1: already path variable exist ---->click on path variable---->edit---->new >ctrl+
V(Paste(Copied path of bin folder)) > ok—ok

Click on new ----> ctrl+ V(Paste(Copied path of bin folder)) --> ok—ok.
Case2: no path variable----> click on new ----> enter variable name i.e. -"path" > variable
value -ctrl+
V(Paste(Copied path of bin folder)))----> ok-->ok

enter variable name i.e. -"path"--> variable value -ctrl+ V(Paste(Copied path of bin folder)))--
> ok-->ok
Check version

Click on windows symbol & search------->cmd -----> enter ” java –version” & Press enter key
