1. Read the unit 1 to 4 and underline the difficult words and write their meaning in English with the
help of a dictionary.
2. Write 10 sentences on each of the following:
i. Proud moment in your life. ii. Nishan-e-Haider.
3. Write 2 Paragraphs on a place which you visited with your family during vacation.
4. Define simple and compound sentences and give 3 examples of each.
5. (a) Define the following tenses and write their structure (Affirmative, Negative, Interrogative)

(b) Write 5 sentences about each structure and underline its subject, verb and object.

9. Read the story book of your choice. Make a list of parts of speech present in the story. Questions
will be asked about the story you read, in the class.

Perform and write the following activities given in the G.Sc book.

5. Make any one model of G. Science in working condition and write their explanation on 3-D
board.
Working model is mandatory for each student. Model should be on no cost low cost basis.
COMPUTER SCIENCE
1. Practice typing a research report on “My favorite National Hero” in Microsoft Word. This should
be approximately 300 words of research. Save your work on the computer and get a print out to display
on the pin boards around the school after summer vacations.
2. Create a solar system in 3D paint. Draw all planets by using the feature of 3D shapes. Distinguish the
planets with different colors and show creativity by labeling them by text tool. Draw planet orbits
around the planet were required.
3. Create a table in Microsoft word, listing examples of different types of software. The examples can
be written under the heading of software, for example entertainment software, educational software and
productivity software. Research online and list the examples of each in the table that you inserted.
4. Plug and Play (PnP) is the technology that allows the Operating system to automatically detect the
peripherals devices, without using any Device Driver. Identify some Plug n Play devices.
5. Write two different algorithms to find product of two numbers and choose the best one among them.
6. Write an algorithm that allows a person to enter a number, algorithm will print table of that number
up to 10. 7. Write an algorithm that gives steps involved with brushing your teeth.
8. Write an algorithm to find product of two numbers.
9. Write an algorithm to find sum and average of three numbers and also find whether a number is even
or odd.
