How To View Form Layout Versions in ServiceNow

Issue Description:
We received a ticket from a user who mentioned that they used to have the ability to relate INC
or Sctasks to other items when closing sc_tasks under the “Related Records” section. However,
they no longer see this ability. To confirm this, we’ll compare the versions.
Steps to View Form Layout Versions:
1. Navigate to Form Layout:
o Right-click the header of the form and select Configure > Form Layout.
o Locate the section under “Form View and Section.”
2. Show Versions:
o Click the Show Versions related link.
o This will display a list of form layout versions.
3. Compare Versions:
o Open each update version.
o Click on “Compare to Current” under the related links.
o Review the differences between versions to identify any changes related to the ability to
relate INC or Sctasks.
By following these steps, you can verify whether the ability to relate INC or Sctasks has been
modified in different form layout versions.
