Improvements and fixes


• Introduced build numbers in the versioning of WSM
• Improved functionality of the “expand/collapse all” feature in the systems window
• Introduced support for the EW-D SK, SKM(-S) and SKP transmitters in the Professional Setup
• Introduced double click option to add devices in the configuration wizard
• Fixed multiple issues in the Professional Setup hindering the correct transmission of parameters
to EM G3/G4 and SR 2050 devices
• Fixed an issue on Mac where the application crashed after deleting the scan analysis results
• Fixed an issue on Mac where the app became unresponsive after a prolonged period in Mac lock
screen
• Fixed an issue on Mac with the display of tool tips in specific scenarios

Known Issues
• On devices with firmware version 2.0.1 or lower, specific values may not be correctly applied
during match configuration in specific situations
• On Mac 14 ‘Sonoma’, the firmware update for EW-DX devices fails when the computer enters
energy-saving mode during installation
• On Mac 14 ‘Sonoma’ with models based on Apple M SoC, EW-DX devices enter a disconnected
state despite being previously discovered in specific situations

• It is now possible to dynamically move the line between the device list and the chart area in the
professional setup.
· The user interface for switching between the already existing views has been improved and-
new function buttons have been added
• It is now possible to customize the order of the columns in the tabs of the professional setup
• Hovering columns header in the professional setup now displays the full name in a tooltip
• Hovering buttons in chart area of the professional setup now displays the functionality in a
tooltip
• New scenes can be added by clicking the + icon on the right hand side of already existing scene
tabs
• Added a regional XML grid for South Korea to the professional setup
• Installing or updating the application no longer requires a system reboot on Windows

• Professional Setup
· WSM now detects changed values in the system during professional setup. Users can decide
to either continue with the original values or go with the changed ones.
· WSM now also supports import of scan data from:
· Shure Wireless Workbench (*.sdb2)
· Rohde & Schwarz FSH/FPH (*.csv)
· RF Explorer (*.csv)
· Tektronix RSA (*.csv)
· Aim TTi (*.csv)
· Anritsu (*.csv, *.spa)
• Support of new new frequency ranges C-TH for ew IEM G4 and Cw-TH for ew 300-500 G4
• Users now get notified via the messaging system whenever a calculation-relevant property has
changed
• Improved workflow of saving files in Spectrum Analyzer and RF Level Recorder
• MAC specific: introducing the typical installation workflow using drag&drop to the Application
folder.
Please note that all previous installations (< 4.5.x) need to be removed before the drag&drop
installation can be performed.
• Professional Setup
· Resolved an issue where sometimes IM spacings have not been shown and respected in
calculation results
• Spectrum Analyzer
· Scans of EM 3732 are shown as a continuous graph now instead of being sliced into pieces
· No more gaps appear in scans with EM 6000
• The first frequency in EM 9046 scan file (.csv) is saved correctly now
• MAC specific: Pressing “Enter” in properties window works now

• Professional Setup
· The lower and upper frequency range of system regions are now calculated based on select-
ed carrier spacings and system frequency ranges of containing channels
· Users are now notified on changes affecting correlated system regions
· Analyzing the frequency spectrum does now work properly with configuration files contain-
ing a spectrum scan
• Remote Access
· When using the password functionality for remote access, users now also need to enter the
password during the start of WSM in case the remote access is active
• The default configuration is now remembered through update installations of WSM

· Creating and maintaining empty system regions is now possible
· System regions do not change their lower and upper frequency anymore when adding or
removing channels
• Spectrum Analyzer
· RF Threshold is now adjustable for digital devices
• Invalid error messages from old NET1 device support removed
• On match configuration the grid system of the selected scene will not change anymore
• Improved EM 6000 and L 6000 detection
· We continue working on this issue which still happens from time to time

• Some users experienced some issues starting WSM after installation. Those where caused by a
missing Microsoft Visual C++ update. From 2019-06-27, we provide a new installer, including the
required components of Visual C++. We recommend all users use the latest installer available.

· Double click .wsm files to start WSM with the clicked configuration
· Start WSM with a specific configuration via cmd command
· Configurations remember the last selected scene
· Possibility to define a .wsm file as default configuration
· Enable “Remote Access” is switched on by default
• Performance improvement by rework of the internal messaging system
• Bug fixes (see some highlights listed below)
· Resolved scanning issues with Firmware 2.2.4 of EM 6000
· Introduced missing Frequency range A5-A8 for SK/SKM 6000/9000
· In device configuration EM 3732 frequencies are not set to default anymore after loading a
configuration
